Imagine encouraging your own son to turn himself in knowing he'll likely get the death penalty.

If it was me I'd be driving over the border into Mexico and keep going until I'm deep in South America somewhere.

Yeah gonna have to agree with you here. The dad must be a maga weirdo, what an odd country

I thought it meant they believe that when you die you get reincarnated in a ZX Spectrum game.

Manic Miner seems appropriate in Trumps case, if somewhat undeserved

Gun culture is still the/a main issue here. In 99% of countries in the world, if you want to murder someone you disagree with, you have to go properly out of your way both physically and emotionally. Stab wounds for example are survivable in most cases. When you have easy access to weapons that can blow people’s heads off from 500m away, it actually overcomes a lot of psychological barriers that prevent people from murdering in the first place.

Imagine if he was president during 9/11.

Reporter: Your thoughts Mr. President.

Trump: A dark day for our country. Btw, I got my golf handicap down this morning.

He did a phone-in interview on 9/11 and one of the things he said was that his building was now the biggest building in downtown Manhattan.

Exactly. The murder rate in the US is around six times that of the UK. And while that may be partially down to cultural differences, it is mainly because we don’t allow our weirdos and nutjobs easy access to deadly weapons that can kill large numbers of people at the squeeze of a trigger.

The absolute refusal of the US pro-gun lobby to accept that having a vast amount of deadly weapons in circulation = lots of people being murdered is one of the most flagrant and bizarre examples of collective self-deception the world has ever seen. But it won’t change.

this is quite funny tbf

It's not. It's coming out in the washing that the fella who did this is a terminally-online edgelord who grew up in a white republican family and was trained to use guns by his own father. Trump is pulling the same quirky nonsense Boris Johnson used to when an inconvenient truth came up. The kid doesn't fit the profile of the people the media are blaming (shame on our rag newspapers for parroting the "trans rights" dogwhistle line by the way, if the bullet engraving comments really are true it's more like the sort of shite 4Chan users still think is funny).

Expect this to conveniently leave the news cycle in record time.

Of course they were going to go there, though.

Most stab wounds end in death I would imagine, take the girl on the subway that got murdered the other day.

Not sure the father had a great deal of choice in the matter, way too high profile a situation for him to get away with. Either that Dad did it, or one of his friends will no doubt have shopped him in time.... still though, his dad can get a new Chevy now with that 100k!

Word is that his views on Israel were changing and he had concerns Mossad were going to off him at some point. Instead it was some juvenile 22 year old engraving memes on bullets... weird old world!

X is just horrendous - yep

If people are going to spend time on it then I recommend clicking on tweets offering very different views to try and encourage some balance.

the number of Americans who are trying to keep their conspiracies going now the FBI have arrested a loner is mad - they’re disappearing down their own rabbit holes !

I'm thinking of coming off there completely tbh it's all negative stuff apart from the odd positive animal rescue, I don't take anything for granted on there most of it it is just farming for views, likes etc.

So you'd support the murder of someone that had different opinions to the child you'd raised so badly that the only way they had to express themselves was to murder someone that they couldn't debate with?

This is mainly based on his podcast last week with Shapiro where he brings up a question posed to him by someone and it’s been clipped to make it look like they’re  his own thoughts.

the mossad comment is based on someone told someone who told someone and they tweeted something that Kirk said.  Completely unsubstantiated and certainly can’t be denied now.

of course now the nutters have had this placed into their minds, they will struggle to believe anything about this kid being responsible. Only their ‘leaders’ such as jones, Carroll and Fuentes denying its veracity will be effective. I doubt they’ll do this cos it could affect their clickability.

That would of course be very dependent on where you get stabbed, I would imagine that most stabbing don’t end in death.
