These transfer rumour mongers are just full of s***. There's nothing new to report, he has no further info so he starts cooking up stories of tension. They use phrases like "lining up a bid" and "monitoring the situation" that mean absolutely nothing and when the story goes cold they go into Jackanory overdrive.

 

For all their chat and contacts, none of them knew Arsenal were hijacking Eze, there was no talk of monitoring situations. It'll be the same here.
