Because they expected us to cave in and we haven’t, which had made them cross.

To be fair, after last season's Ayew and Edouard deals, I'd imagine they are astonished that we haven't caved in.

It makes you want to cry when you think how much we've wasted on those two duds.

Now we'll probably compound that by letting them have BLK on the cheap.

Glad we are playing hardball here. Absolutely no point in losing one of our best players if we stand to making less than £5m profit. Just doesn’t make any sense to lose a player we actually want for so little.

Games being played again.

Do it Palace... I dare you.

A young prospect who is on the cusp of becoming a big name in the game vs a euro journeyman. The very definition of 'slow twitch'.

Seriously worth calling their bluff.

All these Palace driven links to other players in a desperate plea to get us to drop out asking price for Bilal...

Stay firm Rudkin and rinse these lemons after the Eze money!

Yeah, Palace held firm to get a better deal for Eze, and they had a release clause for him which was their asking price.

We’re simply doing the same - £30m is our minimum, so pay up.

After them screwing us with Ayew and Edouard last season I really hope Spurs come in over the top. Although Spurs need a bit of karma as well for Winks and Skipp.

Funny how the only 2 clubs being linked to Bilal are both clubs to have given us the absolute shaft on transfers in the past 12 months.  Feels like Karma wants a few words...

And those words are F......

Leicester are being messed about. Paid a lot of money for Ayew and barely got a game out of Edouard last year. Bilal is a very valuable asset still very young so please Palace no diversionary tactics

Exception not the rule, and Liverpool is a bit different.

We will see with Monga, but i'm not expecting him to hang around either.

So transparent isn't it?

Pay up or go forth and multiply

Hope he stays 🙏

Would love him to stay on the basis we can still make moves in the market.

If our incomings are dependent on his fee to allow us to bring in 3/5 players. Then for the better of the overall squad and Marti getting the players he wants for his system, then we have to sell.

Especially if he his heart is set on a move to the premier league, we need anyone who is still hear after the window closes to be 100% committed to the cause not potentially sulking and not giving everything. Personally I think this is media posturing and the deal is close but just ironing out how much is guaranteed and how much is in add ons, reckon compromise will be sorted in next 24 hours especially if player is pushing for move.

Even if he makes a move we wont be signing anyone for money. This window has so many similarities with the window we only signed Faes and got relegated from the Premier League.

We sacked RvN and still have too many duffers on high wages with Championship revenue and reduced psr allowances. There is absolutely 0 wiggle room even with 2-3 more sales.

Looks like hes about 3rd or 4th choice for palace.

Deadline day loan move to Leeds I reckon.

Never sanction loan moves upwards...

He wouldnt be the only player to not get his move up to the PL following relegation,  gnonto comes to mind, threw a strop but when the window closed came back with his tail between his legs and played, will be the same for BEK should he not get his move, same with Winks, and if we retain them we have a chance this season
