A shame, I'd have liked to see him tear the Championship to bits, especially as some reported before all these shenanigans that he was happy to take us back up.

That said, if he doesn't want to be here and with add ons / sell ons we can get the fee up to £35m, I'm happy with that. He'll do well at Stuttgart.

Now let's reinvest some of that money and give Marti the tools to succeed please.

£26m is disappointing when Southampton have got nearly £40m for Mateus Fernandes

Especially when Stuttgart have just sold a player for £80m+ and have plenty to spend

Spot on. Odd the fee is being defended. Makes zero sense and feels like we've accepted first offer. Also contradicts the valuation Dorsett set out!

We have absolutely no clue what the fee is - not a scooby doo - we’ve got great money in so far this summer - stop with the negative nonsense with zero facts - if it was 30 ish with palace it will be 30 ish with this lot

We just dont have the bottle when a player kicks off, we've always given in

Iv been a city fan 60 years and to me he’s the most overrated player for a long time. Some nice touches but dictates games? No, he can’t lace Fatawus boots. Stephen Hughes vibes for me, well rid ,a very poor man’s Mahrez.

No sure El Khannouss has helped us get a decent price with his behaviour.

Went to the premier league though, always get a bit more that way and West Ham are getting desperate.

Zero point moaning about fee. Zero.

One day left to get some money for a player that doesn’t want to be here. And try to get some recruits in. Being so late in the window negotiating position is very weak.

Just hope we can get some much needed incomings from the money we do receive.

These are the marginal losses that are a constant under Rudkin. They add up over time and it's why we are now ultimately in the shit.

Rudkin Masterclass.

Maybe, they tempted us with a large sum upfront and not a load of instalments.

Bit surprised he is happy with Stuttgart though. Thought he would have got a Prem move and that's why he kicked up such a fuss.

If he had waited and got promoted with us, he is a Premier League player again OR he gets a Prem move in January if performs well.

Has anybody actually reported that we’ve accepted £26m? Might be being dim but haven’t seen anything, only that their initial offer was £26m supposedly.

Of course not just random nonsense for people to moan about

cant imagine its as little as £26mil, suspect that could be the fee upfront, but 6mil add ons(easy ones) with a sell on

these are the same sources who said BEKs release clause was £22mil bare in mind

Selling a player for 5m more than you bought them for, part way into their contract is not why we are in the shit.

Those who don't feature, and are on significant wages is why we are in the shit.

If we have sold him for 26 that is  disgusting. Fernandes 16 million more. Omari Hutchinson 11 million more than bilal. Mental. Shocking if true.thats horrific
