Any manager will struggle there its QPR they don't have the luxury of players the top teams have or budgets, hardly surprising.

A manager can only do so much with bang average players it doesn't matter if your Pep, if the players are limited technically.

Thanks for the insight, did that stop you or others wanting rid of RVN on that basis?
That also doesn’t really explain a second season, that was worse than the first and as I said people describing him as a manager on an upward trajectory.

Something doesn’t add up we are prepared to pay a release clause for Cifuentes but not for Rohl confusing?

I thought I saw a report saying it wasn't the release clause that caused a problem. Sounds like he spoke to the potential new owners of Sheffield Wednesday and thought they were a better bet than our lot.

It’s probably also worth saying that QPR outplayed us for long periods in that game and that the score line somewhat flattered us.

The fog also played a part in the result

I think SW being run by a batshit owner who is trying to sell the club maybe had something to do with it. You still have to negotiate with the club.

Also, articles about about how back room staff arent happy to have him back. Maybe, just maybe he didnt interview as well as we had hoped?

If that’s the case I would be inclined to think Rohl would have been the right choice.

I’m probably being naive but bear with me - can someone explain why we don’t have a bit of a kitty from parachute payments? Is that offset by PSR?

think we have outstanding loans from last season which were financed against future payments, what that money went on I've no idea, think we all thought it was for january transfers

From what we were told by Percy last time we dropped, salaries had approx 25/30% reduction clause. (Still way too much to be paying the 80k players 55/60k )

Thanks wasn't aware. But yeah completely agree that's what I was thinking before unless the players are offered more than that I think they will stay

Waiting to announce the same day as the Foxestrust survey data imo.

I very much doubt the club will give a shit about a loaded questionnaire completed by four thousand fans in a relegation season. If the catalyst to change the board personnel  isn't obvious by the results, outgoing income and the PSR and recruitment issues then I'm hesitant to believe the straw that breaks the camels back will be the Foxes Trusts' findings.

Ironic that a member of our staff will have the same name as a mental health charity. Should probably getting them in as a sponsor if the last few years are anything to go by

Not convinced too many on here defend it anymore. The issue is that the majority of people in the stands are either passive or apathetic about the management of the club.

The last 5 years should show that there is nothing this management group can do that would make the majority of fans turn aggressively against them. We're stuck with it like this. May as well just laugh about it & try and enjoy it when the odd fluke (Fatawu, Enzo, academy players) brings us some joy.

True, I do completely agree with you really, there is still the odd bit of apologism for it on here though. Generally think this place is well ahead of others though. Find it quite peculiar how FT and Twitter are fiercely critical and Facebook are still arsekissing.
