My old man has even had an issue with his card. We relocated and were told he’d get a new card. Had it confirmed twice by email it was on its way and probably delayed due to royal mail. Yesterday he received a letter saying thank you for renewing and as he was staying in the same seat he could use the same card (wrong) Finally admitted they’d messed up and told him not enough time now to reissue a card correctly so have to collect on match day. Place is a complete and utter shambles

Did the club say a match ticket for just the first game/until a card is available or that he has to collect at each game for the entire season?

 

If the latter, can you let us know

Just until card is issued. Was fobbed off twice that all was fine and not to worry. We know better!

Can anyone help please? 
 

I have downloaded my season ticket to my wallet through the ticketing page and managed to put the Birmingham seat on the resale. But my boys season ticket isn’t on there to download.. 

however two separate emails come through the other day to download both through the link which I’ve done my boys through that.
 

I can’t seem to list his ticket though as when I go on the ticketing page (and his still don’t say download) when I click on resale only the option for me comes up..

 

Is there another way or is it a ticket office call? 
don’t know why I’m that bothered anyway, the fixture won’t sell out anyways so nobody will be able to buy them..

I went to a ticket session today. I asked about the dynamic qr codes as mine is definitely changing in my wallet. The fact it was doing that was a mystery to them. They have the capability to turn it on but unless we're promoted, there's no plan to. 

If your phone doesn't have NFC you can just scan the qr code.

 

And they did confirm, if you have an iPhone and change phones you need to contact them to get a new link to download the ticket again, it won't transfer over. Apple do not allow it. It will do in a Google wallet.

I’ve actually been doing some research into this following a conversation I had on here, I believe it might have actually been you,

 

Apple does allow it if iCloud sync is active so concert tickets, plane boarding passes, train tickets, Digital Car keys and Hotel Keys will transfer over between devices, Bank cards also transfer but need activation again by entering the CCV number

 

The only reason why something won’t transfer is if the club issues a one-time wallet pass that are device locked for fraud prevention, so the only way Apple don’t allow it is because of the clubs choice not to enable iCloud sync on the tickets

The numbers have flipped from last season, roughly the number that had digital last season now have the card and the number that had the card now only have digital

Had no problem with digital tickets today and I'm the wrong side of 60, think one of the problems is people had multiple tickets on one phone so one goes through then have to pass the phone back

They were forewarned in a FCC meeting to make sure all turnstiles are manned properly ro sort out issues. This was after feedback from Brighton away which was digital only. We await with baited breath

Big, big queues for a 13k attendance. Will be much worse next week. The queues for food/drink in the ground were also unprecedented, again given the attendance a problem that will only get worse.

I downloaded my lads and it’s showing on both iPhones that I’m logged into.

The queues are only a problem because people don’t know how to use the system.

Well if common sense was used someone would hold the phone and let someone in, then the same person would hold the phone while someone else walks in, repeat for however many is in the group and then lastly the phone holder walks through. It’s a ball ache yes but wondering now if people are just acting dense to rebel.. the harder people make it, the harder the club will go.. it’s not difficult

Mixture of that and the lack of steward help to get people in when it isn't working as planned.

We got there in plenty of time and walked straight in to watch the warmup. Half the food outlets were closed (its preseason).  I am sure we will get there in plenty of time next week and walk straight through, and as usual i won't bother using any of the food / drink outlets.

The ability to "walk straight through" is likely to depend on what's happening in the queue in front of you.   

 

It's a bit like a car breaking down on a busy single carriageway road.   It only takes one, and a backlog can build up in the time it takes to say   "now why isn't this Mobile Ticket working?.  I'm sure everything looks ok.  I think my NFC is turned on.  oh, now let me just check.   Yeah, that looks alright.   Now what else can it be.  Hey m8, excuse me, do I need to hold it closer?   Here, is that right?.  Hold on, let me try opening my wallet again.    oh, where's it gone?  Got it.   Hold on 2 ticks.   oh b0llocks"

It may well have been. I've been trying to find answers for a mate. I've no idea how Apple stuff works, the prob is neither does he. I'll mention the iCloud sync but I can't im he knows what that is!

It’s nothing that he will be able to do about it, the club have disabled the ability for the ST to transfer by not allowing the ST to sync with iCloud. 

so it’s the clubs choice why it won’t transfer not Apples choice
