A big part of me is regretting renewing my season ticket already, really couldn’t care less. I was more looking forward to getting rid of half of our squad than buying anyone and we haven’t even managed to get that done, I still want to boo most of them from last season! 😂

I will give my support to the new manager ... and playing academy players but within their limits and not destroying their confidence and pushing them to far ... only playing senior players who want to give the club their all ..... everyone else can move on ASAP... even if that requires training away from the first team ... seriously had and seen enough of under performers with no passion or enough quality to earn the right to wear the shirt

I voted far higher than I should re potentially excited about what the youth players bring to the team given half a chance

that said I am realistic enough to know it will be a tough season compared to 2 years ago

I'm more looking forward to next summers project reset than I am this season. I can't see how the club can even start to right itself financially until all those big contract players leave.

The ideal outcome would be that we get promotion this season, the younger players ALL do really well and all the dead wood go, leaving us with some real talent, appropriate wage bill, and the financial room to operate in the transfer window.

Glad of the promising new management after the last two disastrous appointments (RVN especially!) but with the PSR threat back rearing it's ugly head again following our relegation and with no new signings other than an ageing back up keepr then despite the league drop down it is more tricky to predict how it will go this time, as others have said despite the likes of Monga, Nelson and Alves hopefully being utilised a lot more alongside the seniors this time. I guess it's never boring so I'm going for a 7/10!

I was 0-2 before Cifuentes was appointed.
I was 6-8 when appointed.

But after watching the pre season friendlies, I’m back down to 0-2.

No fault of Cifuentes, I’m just fvcking sick of seeing the same faces(Faes, Vestergaard, Coady, Soumare, Daka) in particular.

Very underwhelmed, bordering on indifference. The sponsor and kit disaster hasn't helped.

Some of the culprits in the squad from last season should've been shown the door early on in pre-season, and we needed more hungry, dedicated and talented players as replacements.

Not overly excited, but that means I can only be positively surprised.

I'm just not sure the majority of players are up for this Championship marathon.

Making the playoffs would be the maximum achievement. Automatic promotion seems to be nothing but a fever dream.

Walked away from my ST at City a couple of years ago after 30 odd years.....still watch them on streams etc... but as a match going fan non league is so much more enjoyable.

Not very much. Indifferent at best. Sick and tired of no consequences for the inept management that has destroyed this club so until changes at corporate level are effected - not interested...

Looking forward to it, as i do every season, unfortunately i dont get out my tree over

Top, Whealan, Rudkin ect, i dont give a toss, for me its all about 2 teams playing a

football match ,meeting the lad, a couple of jars before and a take away after, my day away from the

everyday life

Me too. See No1 daughter. Have a pie, a pint and catchup.

Off to the match together. Drink afterwards. Train home.

A fine day win or lose.

I'm a 10/10 KP hater but I'm fairly excited because the academy grads and it's hard to know where we'll finish up. In 23-24 it felt like we should blitz it but I don't know where we'll stack up, so there's more intrigue

Exactly my thoughts. Zero expectations, with Rudkin in charge, but intrigued about what happens.

Voted 9-10 as the comment suited it best as to how I feel.. but genuinely, more kind of expecting rather than excited, so 6-7 really.

We should be getting promoted by any means necessary, other wise we’re in for a world of shit in 12 months.

I lost the majority of interest I had when we were relegated 2 years ago and the dismal performances of last season, just 4 league wins, and lack of direction has not improved the situation.

Leicester is my hometown Club who I have supported since 1955 but our demise over recent seasons has made me less enthusiastic about the Club's fortunes.

I support my Club, because they're my Club, (and have done for most of my 79yrs on this earth), not because they've won the Prem., or the FA Cup, and had a few golden years at or near the top of pyramid.  I don'r and won't stop supporting them because of poor decisions and board level, nor will I post vitriolic abuse at the management or players which can only effect moral at the Club negatively.  Anybody who sneeringly refers to fans who support the Club through thick and thin as "happy clappers" is a part of the problem, and certainly not part of the solution.

I long for the return of the days of how we used to be and the excitement of who’s going out or who’s coming in so I’m in the 0-2 range.

Draining the life out of me is brilliantly put and that’s exactly what this club is doing to many fans which is sad but they’re not bothered one bit.

This is the whole point of enjoying your club and yes there will be ups and downs but like any other fans we just want to see our club run well and the care taken which really is a basic requirement from our owners and we can’t get that unfortunately.

I hope we’re sold sometime in the near future and we can all smile again.
