Good deal. Yes we’re weaker but the penny will drop for once all self inflicted but we can only really move forward by clearing the decks.

Feel exactly the same about this as I did McAteer, good deal financially for a player that feels replaceable, but he wasn’t one of the bad eggs. Always gave his all and was never scared to be honest and candid in interviews.

 

You take the money but it’s imperative that we bring in a few with the right attitude.

I know where you’re coming from, but even for a Champ side, they’re average at best options bar the often injured Ricardo.

Looks like £5M up front & £5M in ad ons (appearances, stay up bonus). He was out of contract in June so £5M is great. Another player who needs to move on for the benefit of player and club. Poor last season but not alone of course.

So that’s  £5m which ain’t great.  5+5 seems a strange deal.  Hopefully the guaranteed elenent is 7m+ ???

Kristiansen and Faes next hopefully. Not holding out hope for one of Winks/Soumare to go but if they do this will be a very good window in terms of outgoings.

Winks and Soumare are fine at this level and won't be going imo

Versatility will be missed but more money in the bank for us.

I like Justin. Gave his all and comes across good in interviews. Was a serious player before his injury. He’s never looked the same since though unfortunately. Makes sense to move him on with him on his last year.

Question has to be, what is all this leading to? Are we realistically going to sell Faes and Kristiansen for instance then try and get 5/6 in in a week? Or are we signing no one. I wonder.
