Nothing to do with configuration. People have had every chance to move into somewhere that's literally called the singing section.

It's not that simple though, for a number of reasons. The culture of the home support is to have a presence next to the away fans, but as a general point aside from getting into all of this, there are clubs who have given themselves a better home advantage by reconfiguring their ground.

There needs to be a rousing atmosphere on Saturday for Rowett’s first home game in charge. The current configuration doesn’t maximise our home support but from now on in, it needs to be Everton/Leeds style to get the players over the line.

This isn’t gonna happen.

Our fan demographic is completely different to Everton or Leeds.

Absolutely spineless, a couple of hundred walking towards the ground pre match, 30 people near the back singing. Plenty of phones

in the air for socials. A little sing outside with everyone just wondering what to do. Being mocked by old folk walking through..

Quiet inside.. embarrassing. Just don’t know what to say. Fatawu chant gets going and then has 3 different endings. Song list is just a bore.
League one awaits because everyone has checked out..

Genuinely silent at times today.

Like strangely quiet when there's that many people in one place.

The club feels like it's dying. There's just no passion or interest

Thought the same. Ground is quiet a lot ofc but today felt different. It felt eerie when it was silent.

Why are we suprised by the lack of atmosphere?

It's a library.

Embarrassing.

Thought Norwich were superb throughout.

One of the best away set this season imho

The team absolutely suck the life out of the place

It's almost impossible to back them when they play with so little spirit, endeavour and will to get the ball forward

Po Thet ic is an understatement to that bag of shite they dished up today

Where were the back the lads brigade?

That's not fair, they were there applauding the montage pre match

Personally now prefer away games, the players at least put some effort in, the fans get behind the players even the 800 at Middlesbrough on Tuesday were louder than our home support today.

I thought the atmosphere was OK in the first half hour or so. No toxicity maybe some anxiety and frustration as there always is playing out from the back.I think it is unfair to pin the poor performance on pressure playing in front of the home fans.

I went solo today as my daughter didnt come, so i decided id try L block as a change to usual sk1 (one of the few perks of empty seats being able to just walk round the concourse to do this).  Norwich were excellent.  Loud, good range of songs and not quiet for long.

My take on L1 was that it is more reactive to events (on the pitch and what away fans do) whilst sk1 has more songs and "organised singing".  I just wish more would join in.

I do think we would benefit from the two groups being together atmosphere wise and i must admit i quite liked being near the away fans for a change.......i didnt like the dogsh1t performance tho!!

I always rated norwich fans, for saying its a football backwater they always make a decent noise.  Of course it helps when you're in such great form.

Top was there and we did absolutely nothing to let him know what a pathetic job he's doing.

200 people max actually care

its scary how there's so little of us trying to protest and voice discontent

Top's done a brilliant job in getting those types of fans in the stadium.

Decent sized boos at full time? Any clappers?

One in J1. We thoroughly interrogated his sanity “why are you clapping”, “what deserves applause “, “”what have you seen “ but he just laughed and carried on, I think he expected Ricardo to throw him a fish, his seal impression was very authentic  :dunno:

Ive been in L1 since the beginning and its awful.

Used to be the place to go but nowadays its absolutely  shit, just like the rest of the ground.

A couple of renditions of Gary Rowetts B & W army and that's it.

Wish id taken in the nights and days of the rocking intense atmospheres we had years ago as it just seems surreal nowadays to this dross

Let's hope as many as possible follow their KP overlords out the doors. If you care about matchday, change in the fanbase is just as important as change in the boardroom. We need owners who facilitate the change
