Nope, as what I said is a fact and you are naive for thinking otherwise, and I am not excusing them, I fully recognise what these Uber-privileged people are but  won’t be getting bent out of shape due to it.

Sure, everyone is entitled to boo, but it’s cause and effect :dunno:

I get your point, I suppose in today's life we have to except, life isnt fair or just.  Our behaviours may not bring about the outcomes we need.

I didn't mind true world class footballers acting like they are something special and

Getting star treatment and huge wages

But when the likes of winks or a soumare act like Billy Big bollocks

You know the game has gone and pretty much unrecoverable and unrecognisable to any true football fan who have seen the like of Maradona grace a pitch

That's why I feel unconnected to these fools that masquerade as anything better than me and you

They all now believe and are told by their agents (I assume…) that they are ‘worth it’.

This is what pisses me off with Winks, happy to switch it on and off when it suits, last season he pretty much down tools for two managers, I thought cooper was a poor appointment but Winks behaviour in Copenhagen was disrespectful to Cooper and showed a lack of awareness or appreciation of the situation at the time.

We don’t know the full ins and outs of his fallout with Ruud but it’s pretty clear that he know has the hump with the club and acting like a petulant child.

As I have said, he is a good player but he is not irreplaceable, last season showed he is a low end prem player at best, however he is paid at a far higher level than his ability would suggest, I would sell him and if we can reinvest in a player like Charlie Savage who has the potential to grow and develop whilst also seeing a move to LCFC as a fantastic opportunity rather than a millstone round his neck and a chore.

Literally cannot stand the guy. Seeing his face in a Leicester top riles me. Get him gone asap

Give the guy the credit he deserves. By far our best central midfielder at the moment and we have a massive problem if he leaves

End of the day, if you put your full effort into it, fans notice and appreciate it. Well, decent fans at least will (even if you lose). Every fan base has thick fans, tune them out and focus on the game and your fat cheque.

Just keep trying/working hard and block out the nonsense.

Sounds like you need to support a strip club not a football club.  lol

When has Winks been booed may I ask? He was removed from the squad due to perceived unprofessionalism from Van Nistelrooy. That's on player and managerial not thr fans.

I think his coming on got a good cheer on Sunday too

Think you will find we have a massive problem regardless.

I remember fans sticking the boot in Tielemans, saying the same things not good enough, doesn't want to be here, good riddance etc.

1 years later people realise how much of a lose he was.

Less talent but the same will happen with Winks.

If anyone here really believes Youri gave us 100% in his last season here, please DM me about the bridge in Brooklyn I have for sale.

But he did down tools at the backend, we got relegated and he left for nothing. Like history on repeat. Winks isn’t a bad player but his attitude is far from what we need right now.

Winks, like Tielemans was, is a good midfielder for the level we're at.

But, like Tielemans was, not when he can't be arsed.

In the one League game this season where he played half a game, he looked arsed, in fact I go to say, his performance went a long way to us securing 3 points, which looked most unlikely prior to his introduction.

Never said he did.

Wasn't the point I was making.

Winks have been one of our best players in the first few games to be fair.

The real problem is why are so many players perceived to be not arsed with the club.

If it's so many players then maybe the problem isn't the players.

The club is toxic from board to the stands. It can't be a nice environment to be in

Let’s be honest here.

Good players perform better when they have better players around them.

Winks playing / passing to Dewsbury-Hall, who was mobile and cared as well, was always going to be infinitely better than working with Soumare as his midfield partner.

When you’ve got a play next to you that doesn’t move and your only option is to pass backwards, it’ll make you look worse. This is why player combinations are so important.

Soumare is about as effective as a concrete bollard in that midfield and he makes those around him look worse.

This is where the right manager can bring everything together. I'm not sure it's possible but I hope Cifuentes can do it.

Man Utd have spent years and countless millions trying and failing to rid themselves of the toxic culture up there. Once it sets in, it can be very difficult to remove.
