Not convinced at all. Poor performance on the whole, any team with pace in the transition is going to kill us. Too slow, and not enough effort. Barely able to beat a team on its arse and down to ten men.

Actually think fair play to him, why stay out to get abuse. He needs to facilitate a move best for everyone

Did not realise he was booed coming on and then apparently booed when we scored? Thats mental lol

Not a great performance in general. Winks absolutely changed the game and was MOTM, but make no mistake, this is a weak Sheffield Wednesday side who had 3 injuries, no pre season, a chaotic environment and a red card.

We dominated the game because Wednesday sat back, we were poor whenever they pressed so we have a long way to go.

Good start and 3 points is 3 points.

If we get a 25m bid for Bilal I’d take it. He was nullified really easily with a compact midfield, would rather take that money and go out and buy a decent CM to partner Winks, a striker and then buy Pierce Charles.

It’s not booing Faes, the brain dead fans thing he’s called “Woo”. They’ve done it since he signed. Pisses me right off

Even without the turmoil at the club I would've expected todays result, but a bit disappointing Bannan was sent off and the first goal for Leicester looked offside to me....

Faes giving the fans stick when he scored and then went straight down the tunnel at FT. What a proper nobhead.

I think the absolute knobheads are the people booing him coming on – and then booing his goal, if that really happened.

I personally don't blame him at all. Would've done the same.

Were people booing the faes goal? lol sounded like it on my stream

Wow that is crazy, is he the new scapegoat this season even when he doesnt do anything wrong?

I did wonder how people would react when consider Ayew and Faes had a reasonable game.  Two not fancied players.  I think I heard boos when Faes came on.

We looked much better in that second half, which wasn’t hard to do.

Ayew cannot play as the nine but still have a question mark on whether he and a lot of our players only looked better, when playing against 10 and clearly very unfit players.

I just don’t like most of this squad, makes me hard to keep that positivity that normally happens when you win a game.

Some awkward truths to get heads around. Faes is better than Okoli (I didn’t like typing that). Ayew was absolutely outstanding second half. Winks has to start. We may need to start Daka with Ayew just behind to do a lot of his work. Playing two defensive full-backs didn’t look great.

We will have the lions share of possession in a lot of games but at least 2 of our midfield 3 need to be able to play forward and create.  BEK was off it today, so Winks's introduction made a massive difference.

Mav was shit today but he's still capable of making things happen, though he'll have to start turning it on before long because managing Mongas minutes will only be a valid excuse for starting him on the bench for so long.

Fatawu was excellent throughout, but needs help.  A focal point is needed.

Understandable but you leave that stuff in the dressing room don't show it on the pitch.

2nd half was much better but even then, we have to be better overall to have a chance of promotion.

Winks made the difference. Recycled the ball well and kept things going.

Gonna be fun watching Monga, Fatawu and hopefully BEK all season.

I'll forgive it as it's the first game and under unusual circumstances but we have to be much better than that. The first half was unacceptable

Scares me slightly that we only managed a pretty nervy 2-1 over a ten man in the end side we should have comfortably beaten, but hopefully we will grow into it soon, and fingers crossed the manager has learnt what he needs from this game to improve

Blokes been touting himself out for years thinking hes Maldini when really hes a useless cvnt (hence why no one wants him). Absolutley no loss whatsoever losing an ego like that

No way, really? Ffs. lol

In that case, I hope someone has actually told him that. He did look like he was giving the fans stick and I can see why, if he thought he was being booed.
