Watching the game last night Ayew's penalty was one of the worst I have seen, but my vote for the worst was the one Yann Kermogant missed against Cardiff in the play-offs.

Kermogants at Cardiff without doubt.

That was an awful night and journey back. What a clown.

This shouldn’t even be a topic! Unless a player literally kicks the penalty in the opposite direction kermogrant’s at Cardiff will never be beaten! Depression for days

Don't think any of our penalties were great last night, even the one's we scored. Mavadidi's should have been saved and whilst LT's sent the GK the wrong way, it wasn't hit with any great authority. BEK's penalty was a least hit with power, just a little inaccurate (fine margins).

However, nothing will eclipse that turd of an attempt by Kermorgant. We fought so well to turn the game around after losing 1 - 0 at home, had a sh1t decision by the ref and he then blows it all with the most arrogant attempt I've seen in such an important game.

I remember Steve Thompson smacking one against the post and then scoring the rebound only for it to be disallowed for a double touch.

Sheff Wednesday at home if my memory serves in a 1-0 loss

Maddison Vs Everton factually. The implications of missing/scoring that is exactly why we're here today and it was a woeful fart into the hands of Pickford, no intent behind it.

...and to think he only did it purely for selfish reasons to grab a ball to celebrate the announcement he was having twins.

Kermorgant was a disaster but was a mistake with bad consequences. Maddison's was just plainly awful and even more costly. Maddison's gets the vote!

There was also Mahrez's double-touch penalty when he slipped and kicked it onto his standing foot at Man City one year. Under the new rules he'd get to retake it, but back then it was simply disallowed.
