I've supported this club for 131 years. There was an unsettling period where we were quite good a few years back, but thankfully we're shit again and back where we belong. You youngsters expecting your club to have built on that success are living it cloud cuckoo land. My Grandad took me to see Woolwich Arsenal on the Vicky Park in 1814 and we drew 1-1 to go 8th in the second division. That's where we belonged then, and that's where we belong now. It’s simple… those who want to play for the club. start, those who don’t, can train with the u21’s and piss off  it brings down the energy when you have effortless players on the field

How can you have players who have reportedly agreed personal terms with clubs (Justin, BEK, Okoli) play let alone captain the team, what does that say about the mindset and mentality at the club ?

 

If they have agreed personal terms with a club, they have mentally checked out, don’t play them, let them go. No loss anyway, even BEK, flatters to deceive, few nice touches and turns here and there, not fit to lace the boots of some of creative players we have had in recent years, Mahrez, Tielemans, Maddison. Massive downgrade for palace going from Eze to El Khannouss

We will be championship or worse for years, simple as that. Rubbish players, championship manager, big time Charlie attitude with nothing to back it up. Vestergaard and Soumare should be permanently binned for Page and Nelson. They might struggle initially but at least they can run and move which is more than can be said for half the team. Wasn't even surprised we lost at all today, there will be plenty of worse defeats to come.

You were on vicky park in 1814? I mean I feel like I've been following city for over 200 years too.

No you’re right. I might be completely wrong but given they have to be in a separate dressing room I wonder if there’s also some regulation around celebrations too. 
 

He got a few high fives but nothing more.

 

I actually think probably a lot of the others didn’t want to “celebrate” equalising against Preston in front of the fans as it’s rather embarrassing

Attitude and body language from players pre match during the match was terrible 13 players that featured thats including subs looked disinterested and going through the motions. Monga only looked liked he was interested in getting involved. I'd happily see the under 23's start against Charlton. This current crop couldn't give a crap.

 

Last season yet ended.

Unfortunately for some of you, it’s quite clear that Faes is our best centre half. Again we improved when he came on which is strange considering he’s a centre half. I think he has to start against Charlton, alongside Nelson.

Of course they are. I don't think Cifuentes is particularly great ( if he was he wouldn't be here) but he has the same crap set of players as Ruud had. As I've said a million times before the real problem isn't their ability but their attitude and mentality which stinks. Some have no confidence (Daka) some think they're better than the club and don't want to be here (Winks) some couldn't care less and or are just a bag of shit (Soumare) Some have mentally checked out having been booed a lot due to being shit (Faes, Justin) The whole club stinks from top to bottom but the same godawful players like Soumare, Vestergaard, Justin, Daka should be nowherre near the team or squad I'd rather have a team of under 18s. Look at that long ball in injury time,  a drunk sloth with mobility issues would cover ground quicker than Vestergaard.

You have said yourself, there are many issues, the players are not energised, not trying, almost going through the motions. I would argue replacing the players will achieve little.

The change needs to be more seismic.

Literally doesn't matter at all whether they do. Their players had better application and desire and that's been evident against us in a number of games already. Really doesn't matter if "on paper" we have better players. That doesn't make a team. Its not a difficult concept to understand.
