If BEK goes, which looks imminent, who do we play there?

Alves doesn't seem to have it yet, although he might click into gear with some game time. Page looks promising but I think he's more of an 8? Monga has been put about but he has to stay on the left for me. Ayew behind Daka or pushing Winks up with Skipp behind both make me feel severely ill.

Or do we just bring in some Portuguese wonder kid who will more than likely do a Buonanotte and fail to cut the mustard...?

lets be right on Alves hes not really been given enough of a go to even prove himself there, might have got 45mins against Huddersfield but Soumare and Skipp have an allergy to passing the ball forward

and not ayew there either

rather given Alves, Monga, Page, Mav

Ayew is not the answer to anything

What about....

Which player is overweight, takes a terrible corner and is extremely selfish?

If we play the likes of Ayew, BCR, Soumare and Co. We will be midtable at best.

If we play the youngsters, it will likely be the same outcome, but at least we will be developing them for the future.

Either way, unless we surprisingly sign a load of players before the window closes, we are a midtable Championship club now.

Thanks Top and Rudkin.

Should this season produce no exciting signings in favour of overdue prudence, then there is still excitement to be had from seeing the many youth prospects we could field, agree that it would likely mean at least one more season here (or …) but such a pivot from old farts should be exciting at least.

I dont get why people keep saying Bilal was a 10, we were told he wasnt a 10 when he joined, he supposed to be a box to box midfielder, we had buononatte as the 10 last season. We should have tried winks bilal monga as the midfield 3, I think we should try Golding alongside winks with Ayew or Momga as a 10
