Overall a pretty pathetic performance. But our manager hasn't got a lot to choose from.

We are in desperate need of reinforcements. In all areas, except for goalkeepers.

How on earth did our scouts thing Okoli, Skipp & Ayew were going to keep us up last year. 

They look out of place in the championship ffs let alone the PL.

Scraped a win in the second half. Win’s a win and all that, but nothing to shout about. Problems ahead if promotion is the goal, but probably end up mid table. Excellent from Jakub.

JFC what a shithouse win. A moment of magic papering over the cracks that we were awful

 

Having said that, it was nice to see a bit of fight and defensive resilience albeit riding our luck and Jakob saving us numerous times

Stolrcyrk and Okoli absolutely superb, nowhere near our fluent best but gritty and gutsy especially when you consider no BEK, Mavididi or Justin. We had a 16 and 17 year old starting, was always going to be a tough game but credit where it’s due that was a lot better than last week in terms of work rate and commitment.

Great result, but that is absolutely the only  thing that was it, we are a poor football team and need players with quality DESPERATELY! What is more concerning is the manger starting the likes of skipp, and having number 9 who is non league standards

Serious issues with the squad, we urgently need a new spine.

 

However, nice to see us actually fight for the scrappy 1-0. I kept expecting the notification of an equaliser and it’s huge for that squad to win games after last season.
