He’s not great but he did more in the time he was on than Daka has done all season. Especially today, even after the daft loss of ball on the edge of their box. At least he at times hold it up, laid it off. Bring on Daka we lost it all.

He could still have avoided that whole move from starting if he didn’t do what he did.

Always going to be hard stepping up from where he has, particularly in the physical aspect. He goes down far too easy, he gets muscled off, he looks ineffective and behind. Players coming to a new country have to be given that first season to adapt in my mind, unless they're exceptional.

 

The hope is in the gym and training he'll improve and find his way to be effective. Still early days. Hasn't looked great so far but we desperately need someone to step up in front of goal this season because it's a glaring weakness in the team.

I don't share your optimism, but even if you're right, we  don't have the luxury of allowing  a season to bed in.  We need a striker for this season as a matter of urgency.  I just can't believe the clowns that run this club.

Looks like im the only one that thought he had a decent first half, made a handful of clever runs in between the centre backs unfortunately his skill set whilst on the ball didn’t match the intelligence he had whilst making the runs but also brought others into play well and won a good few flick ons. He doesn’t look like scoring but it looks like it may stick when the balls punted up towards him

I disagree. At least daka has shown some usefulness this season imo.

 

Either way, Evans or Hutchinson can't be worse, as a minimum will add value to the club in the future.

Maybe daka has ,but until we see carranza starting atleast another 5/6 games hard to tell. Agree id happily play Nelson over faes for rest of the season!

I don't think any of our strikers are flourishing in whatever system this is but he looks 'bad'. But in some ways - what did we really expect? He was very much "he'll do". A half arsed signing.

. Anything else we can add to support Patson Daka because we must support £16m, 3 season, jelly legs, can’t score, can’t head, 4 goals in 5569 performances, Patson Bloody Daka. So that’s one what else can we add  ?

Carranza has nearly done as much as Daka this entire season as Daka’s pass led to a goal because James finished while Carranza pass didn’t as Fatawu didn’t. 
 

However to be absolutely clear. Both have been pretty shit. Today and for most of his career here, Daka has been ****ing atrocious. 
 

However, tune in, in a years time where Carranza will probably be just as shit. If not worse.
