You're right, but given how good he is with the ball and how shite we've been at creating things, I can see why Marti tried it.

 

I honestly reckon him and Fats on a good day are the only Prem quality players we have.

Jordan I think option is €5m which is about £4.4m looks a no brainer. I think the French club paid a similar figure which I thought was cheap at the time when he left Birmingham

He cares because he hasn't had that big contract yet and is hungry. He has the right attitude and you can tell he wants to succeed. Exactly the sort of recruitment we should be doing. 

 

I imagine if we get promoted via the play offs we offering him 100k a week and that hunger quickly disappears.
