Fvck me you’re all fvcking morons if you haven’t included Charles Charley Charles from the 1920-21 season. Pr1cks. X

This is like one of those comprehension tests

Rule #1 - Ensure you’ve read and fully understood the question!

And Charley Charles was a total baller by the way….

Flowers was only good for a season and was coming to the end of his career, he was replaced midway through the second season.

Because he was suffering from injuries and his career was winding down. He was also excellent in the first half of his second season and was one of the reasons we were top.

If we're talking 'ability', which is what the the thread is about, I think he's the.mody talented we've had in my lifetime.

Worthington was a close miss, but he probably wasn't at his very best when he played for us.

Larry May was also in my mind

Bobby Smith at left back was ahead of Rofe who again was probably passed his best when he played for us, although still an excellent player with a hell of a shot

Mine’s quite similar, but good grief what were you on when Bobby Smith was playing for us?!? And 3 wingers?!

I wasn’t old enough to have watched them but I’ve always been under the impression Elliott was the better player between him and Walsh

sorry/not sorry if it’s unbalanced. Nothing gets past Huth/Elliott/Kante then lump the ball forward with a bonus of a long throw from Fuchs.

I forgot I never actually saw Lineker play for us., so I’m going to have sub him out for Iwan Roberts  who can knock the ball into the back of the net with any body part. I’m also thinking Kasper and Matt would be quite the vocal sparing partners

People sleep on Elliot forget how good he was up the other end.

when you consider some strikers fail to score more than 5 in a season, he has 2 seasons of 7 and 6 goals.

22 Goals in 199 prem games

From my fading memory Elliot started as a striker before relocating to defence which is why he was pretty good at scoring goals, particularly headers from a time when we could actually score from set pieces.

Born 1993 and will probably overlook some of the MON team due to age at the time really, but...

Schmeichel

Ricardo - Evans - Fofana - Fuchs

Kante - Tielemans

Mahrez - Izzet - Barnes

Vardy

Centre halves are really hard. Fofana I think is the most talented CB I've seen at Leicester but obviously it went a bit pear shaped. Evans I think probably had to be the most rounded we've had and I think he could've played in the 2016 side. It does feel really harsh leaving out Huth though.

If there was a bench of 7 it's probably Hermansen, Huth, Lennon, Cambiasso, Maddison, Albrighton, Heskey.

I've almost certainly forgotten someone. Matt Elliott seems to be the one who is getting rated higher than I thought he would be - and that's absolutely not a disagreement that's again what I refer to in the first sentence.

Best I've seen so far. Think Weller and Mahrez could swap positions or put Weller in midfield and put Glover/Sinclair on the left wing?

I think a lot of the player from the early to mid 60s were probably technically better than most of the other decades, they did win a cup in 64 lost to Chelsea in 65, should have done the double in 63 and were unlucky in 61

The 15/16 team was probably the best in the clubs history and the FA cup team was pretty good.

We probably had the two best goalkeepers around, both World Class in Banks and Shilton.

The full backs in the 60/70s were excellent, R Norman, Nish, Rofe, Whitworth andvRodrigues.

I think David Gibson was the best midfielder in the league, he would stand alongside of Kante, Weller Izzet and Cambiaso

The best front men were Vardy, Worthington and Lineker, plus Collymore

We had some great winger, Glover, Guppy, Mahrez, Albrighton, now we have Fatawu and Monga

There have been sone great central defenders, Cross, Sjoberg, Steve Walsh, John O’Neil, Russell Osman, Matt Elliot, Wes, Maguire and J Evans.

There are many more, depends on your main era of support

He was but I bloody loved 90s era Walsh.

He had that aura about him that would give the whole team a lift and he could drag the team through matches.

Very decent on the ball also, loved a through ball and a great season as a striker too alongside Joachim.
