Does anybody else miss the days when kickoffs were mainly Saturday at 3pm

No.

Finding a stream for a 3pm Sat K/O is a pain in the hole. I would much rather 12.30 Sunday/8pm friday and watch us on TV.

I get it from a travelling supporter POV but for someone who live 300 odd miles away...

As a match going fan I hate it. Transport is a nightmare on non-Saturdays or even 12:30s.

Doesn’t help our rail connections are shit for such a central place

Living 130 miles south, the only advantage to me are the 12-30 kick off times. Anything in the evening is a no go….but there’s going to be so much on the box now so that sorts me out okay

I've seen comments about football in TV and I hate that we've reached a point where you have to have about six different subscriptions to watch half of football matches. This isn't good for anybody.

PL and EFL should be forced legislatively to have 100% of matches available via one service provider. If you can watch every game overseas it is just another example of ordinary Brits being screwed.

I travel 140 odd miles each way to sit in my season ticket seat. Missed the Brum match as the motorway network on a Friday night is impossible. Virtually given up on midweek matches now. Refunds beyond the resale allowance need to be offered for all matches moved for TV coverage. Keep saying it but there's really not much point in having a season ticket for a travelling fan. Be a sad day when I give it up but I'm almost at that point.

Does anyone else miss the days when thread titles were much more succinct and the author could get to the point much more concisely without putting in the title what should have been contained within the first post?

Not sure i've ever seen a thread title longer than the initial post. Wild

It was already time for the Sunday lunchtime kickoff by the time they'd finished typing

It’s more frustrating in the championship than it is the prem for some strange reason, maybe because there’s more potential for us with game moves, what with being a bigger club in the league and now they have 3 early Saturday kick offs whereas in the prem there’s only one game at a time in each tv slot.

The 1230 kick offs aren’t a real problem for me if we are at home, but frustrating for others who lay out for a season ticket and having to leave 3 hours before they really should be. Thats not to say I like them, I’d much rather be going Saturday 3pm.

We get absolutely rinsed in every aspect in the UK.

Just think you could wake up in Spain on Saturday and nip out get a few drinks and probably spend a tenner. Get back home and have every single game available to watch for about the quarter of the price we pay to not even have access to every match.
