It’s a shame the International break is this week as it might have been a good opportunity to get some momentum now we’re getting an idea what our best team is.

I’d go the same again, although Ramsey for BDCR is a good discussion point. I wouldn’t be averse to seeing that change

lol my Dad hates them over the same game.

Me too, we were in the pub that got trashed before kick off, glass flying everywhere, very frightening, police next to useless. Remember having to run the gauntlet of their scum supporters lining the street on the way out eyeing up people and following them. We dodged down alleys and entries to get back to the car.

Pearson was the single biggest factor. Love the guy.

Whilst I think history is less kind to Vichai (in that hindsight shows that things weren’t as good as we felt at the time), it was a fine sale at the time. Milan wasn’t to know his son would go on to do what he has done.

Yeah that’s a reasonable way to look at it.

My missus is a pompey fan so we watch them a lot. They’re exactly the type of team that we’ll be clueless against. Expect a record number of passes between Faes and Vestergaard

Our quality should come through but I wouldn’t be surprised at all to see us lose this.

Josh Murphy is dangerous and rains in a hail of crosses. Together with Callum Lang and Colby Bishop, could have our defence running for cover. Connor Chapman is back where he belongs. Andre Dozzell is decent in mf so is Adrian Segečić. Pretty sure their keepers Ben Killip and Nicolas Schmid are the same person!

I recall the days of the 6.57 Crew. The Millwall Bushwhackers used to say they that aside from the ICF, they were the only firm to actually put up a decent fight.

Yes Just Vichai !

Not the wannabe Polo child that wants to play on his horsey

I read that as Polio child and thought, that's a bit harsh!

Take your pick

He's clearly never going to start Nelson and Okoli as much as many on here may want him to.

We took one almighty mob down there for the FA Cup match, a couple of years after that.

They weren't so big and brave that day, faced with 200 blokes, rather than picking off individual families.

By all accounts ... gave them a right good runaround ontheir own patch

<< Edited to say >>

Apologies if I've got this slightly wrong ... but the City hardcore fans were so incensed that Portsmouth had ben picking on families, women and children at that playoff match ...that they organised a return trip to teach them a lesson.

If memory serves me right, there was going to be 5 busloads of lads/blokes going down there for the league match the following season, and seeing how  they behave then.    But the Saturday game was in winter and got called off, and the plans were shelved.

So the main "teach them a lesson" was the cup tie the year after that.

Can’t see there being any major changes, if any at all.

A real good chance for 3 points, we should with all due respect be beating Portsmouth.

Win this game and then all of a sudden our start to the season looks acceptable and we have momentum.

Clean sheet and more goal difference would be good.

They're great as long as you're local.

Not all about locality, just depends where in particular you're travelling to seeing as we have such poor transport links.
