RizLCFC Posted 15 January Posted 15 January (edited) Everyone saying there was pressure on him from the top to play certain players, Faes’ agent has said the club and player wanted to part ways in the summer, but the manager brought him back in. Edited 15 January by RizLCFC 2

Isn't he just head coach? If all parties wanted out, all it would've taken was a decent offer 1

If both parties wanted to go, he'd be gone. Not a chance Marti said I need Wout Faes being arsey on my bench. He had Winks and Faes on the bench because both wanted out but couldn't get clubs to pay a fee and their wages. 4

How is this manager still at the helm?! Because we have the highest wages, we cant afford to sack the manager that paid his own release clause from a job he was also sacked from. Bizarre.

IF that is true, then it shows you completely what is wrong at this club. Our wage bill in comparison to other championship clubs is ridiculous and we know we have to reduce it, so this decision should not be in the managers hands. A stronger club would have made the right decision and try to move him on.
JimJams Posted 15 January Posted 15 January Nobody wanted to buy him in the summer. There may have been interest, but not for a fee. 1

Bizarre. I think this is a bit of misinformation….. wasn’t it confirmed from the QPR journalist that he didn’t buy himself out of his contract…… he was placed on gardening leave and eventually allowed to leave. I’m pretty sure we paid compensation for him. Anyway, we can afford to sack him, we just won’t until we know what’s happening with PSR…… because we think that if we don’t spend any money, or make any rash financial decisions, it might work in our favour……

I think you've misunderstood that. He wanted out and was reintegrated after the summer transfer window came and went with no bids. Again.

We needed that wage bill down and we didn't spend one penny on incomings. Does Wout seriously expect us to believe that a move to Monaco presented itself in the summer and Marti said, OK, take Mads, take Wilf, take bek, Justin, kasey, Coady... But don't take Wout! And are we are then supposed to further believe that the club, in financial dire straits was OK with that? Furthermore, are we expected to believe that this phantom bid evaded all journalists and leaks and went completely unnoticed and unreported? Monaco and Wout might have spoken but if there was a bid rejected by the club I'll eat my hat. Wout is full of shit. 5
Popular Post CrazyKopCorner Posted 16 January Popular Post Posted 16 January Tactically inept and getting nowhere near enough out of the players. Only 6 months in but clearly not up to the job get rid 6
john ridley Posted 17 January Posted 17 January Get in early ,no idea and Wrexham should put an end to him .

Cropwellfox Posted 17 January Posted 17 January Coward of a manager. BDCR and Ayew to offer the square root of **** all between them. Fatawu to be greedy. JJ to spend the game wondering why the hell he bothers and Lampard to have a chat with him at full time. 1
BigGibbo Posted 17 January Posted 17 January Credit where it's due. I can't remember the last time a full week working with our manager positively impacted the team. Fingers crosses his game management improves and we capitalise on it in the second half. Shockingly promising turn of events so far though. 🙏😅 1
Popular Post Mickyblueeyes Posted 17 January Popular Post Posted 17 January The biggest team talk/next half of his Leicester management career. 1-0 up. a proper performance for one half. organised. a threat going forward. on top. Can he ensure this continues into the next half. Will he sit them 11 men behind the ball. What subs will he make. Its huge. A lot of us will think this was our one good half we have per game. I’m praying it isnt 8

I might be wrong but that's how it feels. He's passionless.
BKLFox Posted 17 January Posted 17 January Whilst I’d love to see Ayew off and maybe Bobby I don’t see any changes sadly. They have a better bench than we do if imagine Marti will wait to see how Frank changes it before he makes changes, I just hope he doesn’t leave it for to long we need to keep the energy up
Marshall Cockney Fox Posted 17 January Posted 17 January That resemble footie. Where's Marti found that formula?
