Logically I guess if hes doing media, he wont want to do media having just sacked the manager, becomes all about that?

I know hes uninterested & negligent but this would be a new level even for him to keep Marti

Part of me did feel a bit sorry for him as he inherited a weak squad and has had no money to spend on new signings but I soon realised how incredibly dire this league is, and the weak squad he inherited should absolutely be doing better. Aside from the results and league position, we have been awful to watch, cant keep a clean sheet, barely create any chances and usually rely on a moment of magic to get a goal. The only reason I can think hes stayed this long is because we can't afford to sack him but id argue, we cant afford not to. Our finances are already in a dreadful state and if we go down to league one then we'll be in serious danger of administration or worse. The only way we can begin to course correct the club is by staying up, shifting all the high earners in the summer and hoping the youth lads can give the championship a good go next season. Never thought id say it but Mowbray is the way forward. Experienced championship manager that will quickly turn things around and get results.

lol A proper owner cancels those media engagements and gets on with the real work.

But then some fans will complain about the lack of comms.

He can do both, shows he’s taking charge and not tolerating the rubbish.

2 of those manager were managing in the PL, massively different.

Agreed, as for the worst squad in 20 years?

14 squad players from the league winning side.

5 of those regulars and others like Daka getting minutes.

More than a nucleus of players that have proved they are capable at this level.

Yeah no one was expecting to win the league, but we should be sitting comfortably outside the playoffs as a minimum.

No clean sheets since September,

only scored more than 2 goals in 3 games out of 29.

The one half capitulations, 4 at QPR, 3 at Southampton, 3 at Sheffield Utd all point to a bloke well and truly out of his depth

Think he goes today and think we find out about how many points it going to be next week. Strap in folks.

I'm actually looking forward to knowing the deduction, weirdly. At least we'll know exactly where we stand and the reality of the situation might sink in for our criminally underperforming board and the blind faith fans.

At least this might turn more people against the owners and increase the questions being asked by the media.

Can’t wait for another shielded Top interview with one of his LCFCTV yes men that can’t say anything at all pressing to their boss whilst we sit here wondering why Poundland Pep is still here. Probably saved his job by blaming the fans.

Top never does interviews which suggests he's sacked him?

Think its been planned for quite some time that once he was back he was going to speak with national and local media

If he is going, they won't announce it until after any committed sit downs with certain media that have been planned for a while. Probably an agreed embargo not to say anything until this afternoon.

Is this interview not with Owynn? Hope he grows a pair and gives him a proper grilling. Pre-recorded I bet though...
