This guy really had a cult following. One game someone next to me spent the whole game shouting 'Gooo on JORDAN!' everytime he got the ball, took photos of him all game and ignored everyone else on the pitch.

 

Against Wrexham, he messed up a the end and miscontolled for a throw in. Someone near me shouted 'Don't worry Jordan, im sure everything will be ok next time'.

 

And don't get me started on the ole ole chant every time he does something without falling over.

What’s frustrating is not just that he is playing to the best of his limited ability, but more often than not he actively avoids bringing others into the game when the chance is there. Thick and limited players is the down fall on the pitch.  They don’t even use the basics to get the ball quickly to the players with the ability.

 

Fatawu has been ruined, Monga is now playing like Mavadidi because he gets zero support and he will play JJ out of position with Soumare behind and Ayew infront. Yuck.

No matter who you play there's legitimate reason for complaint.  BDR did well in his first start for us.  Didn't show up much in the following game and been bit part since, but nobody is going to slot in there and get everyones confidence.

Off on a tangent here, but I'd find it interesting if there was an experiment using those players our fans love to hate; Faes, Soumare, Thomas, BdcR and VK.

 

If they each played a game up front as striker for Anstey Nomads. What would the class gap be? 

 

My feeling is that Soumare, Faes and VK would be stratospherically above any player on the pitch. My suspicion is Thomas and BdcR wouldn't look any different. And conceivably be worse.

I really like that midfield. Have doubts as to whether that defence will gel, but worth a shot.   I'd prefer Jordan over Patson though because he does at least get the odd goal. Better still put a young prospect like Page in.

He keeps hoping the same lot dig him out of the hole they have got him into. The manager is on his last legs and I think two maybe three games left for him. 
 

This will be a defeat and one of those he keeps backing will make a **** up. Two home games, two drab performances I’ll be astonished if it doesn’t in part turn toxic.
