We haven’t got the players to play how some of these managers that have been mentioned play. We need a manager who will sort the discipline out and grind results

Tony Mowbray, we need experience, someone who has been through the ups and downs of the Championship and who can guide us through the shit we have got ourselves in.

For 3mths or 2yrs?

We have one striker who has 2 goals in two seasons, I'd say that is a problem

Realistically we're only going to get an out of work manager, because we can't afford to pay compo. So probably someone like Hasenhuttl, plus he has the obligatory Southampton link.

Agreed, but if the club change the manager there’s even less of a chance we get a striker in due to funds.

Only 5 clubs have scored more goals than us, only 2 have conceded less.

I don't think scoring goals is our problem.

Having a crap manager who can't organise a side is the issue.

We didn't interview him in the summer though did a decent job at Sunderland he is getting on a bit though would be his last job

Think I would see it as either to the end of the season, or all of next season of we don't sack this season.

We clearly have no money. There's going to be a big transition as well let big earners leave and once enough go presumably at that point might be able to bring in lesser quality on realistic wages. Somebody that isn't aiming for the top is necessary and an older manager who's been there done it in the championship could be the way to go to get us through this period.

Once we've got rid of everybody and are back to championship wages and income we can look to start again when somebody that wants to build a team and try to get up and build something new.

Obviously he won't come, but Ange would be great with the club in its current state.

Would put a rocket up the players, making them more attack-minded and also be very direct towards the club's management.

Ange is the only manager on the list I'd be happy with.

Some of the other names on there are hilarious.

I think we could bring in someone like Skubala who is managing at a smaller footprint club like Lincoln City. Given that is league one I could see the compensation fee being realistic for us to pay. We wouldn't be paying out Enzo Maresca money to get him in the door.

I've been calling for Mowbray since 2021. Make it happen.

I understand it now, but 6 months after we lifted the FA Cup??

I hope your wish finally pays off lol

Whoever we go for we need to be realistic about objective setting. We need someone who can a) keep us up b) rebuild the squad incorporating youth c) mount a promotion push next season

We need experience but not a pensioner, someone who is a motivator but also tactically aware and probably most importantly someone who can put up with and babysit JR and Top.

I don’t think the free agent market will cut it. We need to shift Winks, Daka and Soumare now and use any income to fund recruitment of a manager and a handful of loans. Need to be proactive and make it happen. Our future could depend on it.

I want someone that has no associations with Spanish football. No reference to Cryuff. In fact, if they even flown over Spain, they should be rejected instantly.

I want a coach that has a track record of getting the best out the resources. Simple forward passing direct football please.

The man we should have got to replace Enzo, but balked at a couple of million to get him (buy cheap, buy twice): Carlos Corberan.

And he’d be our first Spanish manager..

I've been talking about Mowbray for months. He's the obvious answer imo.

Half decent football, sensible management, safe pair of hands.

Only problem is Top and Rudkin probably think you talking about Melton Mowbray...
