Ultimately, he's still done a decent job at Forest in the circumstances so you can guarantee a PL team would be after him at some point. To drop to a club on the verge of L1 when your stock is so much higher makes no sense at all 1
Popular Post Ian Nacho Posted 12 February Popular Post Posted 12 February People suggesting Dyche are just as deluded as Top. 14

mod hero Posted 12 February Posted 12 February How many managers have been sacked and take on a new job within a few weeks? I can’t think of many. They take their compo and put their feet up. 2

Muzzy_no7 Posted 12 February Posted 12 February I think it’s part desperation, part he and his staff are local and part still believing we are an attractive project for the right guy. Should’ve been Rowett weeks ago. 3

kingfox Posted 12 February Posted 12 February As that Blackburn journalist tweeted yesterday, there’s interest in Rowett elsewhere(Probably us) hence why he didn’t commit to them. Knowing us, we’re probably trying to tempt 1-2 more high profile targets that are probably unrealistic, when they don’t come off, we’ll just turn to Rowett.

fkas Posted 12 February Posted 12 February 1 minute ago, Les-TA-Jon said: Why would he sign a 2/3 year deal and risk getting stuck with us in League One? He could quite easily include an option to walk away if relegation happened. Rescuing us from the spiral we're in is a good news story to add to a CV. There's then the option to oversee a rebuild of the club into what he would like it to be or he could take the boost in PR and move elsewhere. 2

He wouldn’t even be able to bring any players in. I think he’d be great for organising the defence and for Fatawu and Mavididi but would despair at not having even a semblance of a CF. But he's got a disc beard!!!!

StanSP Posted 12 February Posted 12 February Probably doesn't even realise the big positions near the top of the chain are still vacant. Useless. 1
Guest Jonboy1999 Posted 12 February Posted 12 February I honestly believe it will be Kingy till the end of the season and then 2 weeks before the season starts will look to appoint a manager. Dyche won’t come nowhere near TOP he’s worse than the clown at Forest!

lcfc_forever Posted 12 February Posted 12 February (edited) Vitor Pereira to Forest is almost done. Incredible how slow the club are - only justification would be appointing someone like Dyche who has just become available. Edited 12 February by lcfc_forever
Aleksz Posted 12 February Posted 12 February This is all so exhausting. They probably don't feel a need to have one in for the weekend because its "only" the cup - if they manage to get to the next league game with King still in charge then we've reached new levels.

He’d be foolish to get straight back into management with such toxic owners and such incompetent footballers. He’ll have himself a nice little holiday and see what offers come in during the summer. 2
