Any news on his recovery? I know he is not the quickest, but he did a good job at SU in this league.

Was sat behind the dugout last night, first time I've seen him around, not saying he hasn't been there for a while though

Saw him in his training kit last night so would suggest he's not a million miles away from being back. Him and Nelson would be great, just a shame it won't matter when we have nothing going forward.

Imagine being a genuine threat from a corner

Gotta put a decent corner in first... sorry, I've just sucked all the positivity out of the room haven't I?! >_<

Did his ACL then his achilles.

Is he following the Ricardo book of injuries?

Can anyone remember what is next? Broken leg?

And he was bang average before that.

When is his contract up?

summer 2028

Currently cost us £1m per appearance, another stellar bit of business by Jon "negotiating masterclass" Rudkin

An injury free Souttar is a top defender in this division.

Let’s not mix up the injuries themselves, the fact we signed him as a PL club and the fact he doesn’t suit our style (we don’t do defending so he doesn’t fit) with his actually ability at what he is there to do.

The points I have listed mean it was a poor/odd signing. But he was a rock for Sheffield United last season before injury.

If we could get our wingers to cross a ball and corner takers to miss the oppositions first man out, having him up front wouldn't be a bad idea (as per Walshie) in times of trying to recue a match.

Wilder and Sheff Utd will be in for him in January I'm pretty sure of it.

I doubt they'll go for him in January, he probably won't play any games for us until mid Jan, so won't be able to prove that he's fit enough, to justify anyone taking him on.
