Top saying hes had to spend a lot of time focusing on Thailand is the problem. His focus isnt here so hes had someone completley out of his depth in Jon Rudkin managing the club while Top focuses on the King Power business. This is why we are in this mess. Incapable people being given too much responsibility far beyond their skillset and knowledge. The club should be going all out for someone like Dan Ashworth or maybe someone linked to Brentford/Palace who has seen their clubs trajectory sky rocket in the last 2/3 years

Just watched it......agree there's more waffle than a fat Belgian's breakfast buffet but i listened, tried to see things from his side.

 

A couple of things made me angry, we won the Premier League and fans expect to win every season. Who? Maybe those for whom 2016 was their first season and it's all they knew but really? Last season our fans expected us to win the Premier League did they? Bull. Secondly the amount of laughing from both. People are paying £60 to watch a poorly selected, poorly prepared team, with little scope for improvement due to financial mis-management, struggling to get points against mobs of hungry young championship players on a third of their wages. Ha ha, it's hilarious isn't it, glad you find it so funny.

 

Step 1 - Don't make this a one off but next time face questions that aren't so loaded and easy to answer.

Step 2 - Do everything you can to sign Jordan James permanently ASAP. His age, passion and determination should be our model moving forwards.

Step 3 - Never bloat the squad again with over-rated players on long deals even in order to cope with a season in Europe, take a few players on a season loan to cope with the fixture list instead.

Step 4 - When you think about criticising our expectations take a glance at the likes of Bournemouth, Brentford, Brighton and Fulham and ask yourself how they manage to do what they do on their resources and how we're light years behind them now.

Step 5 - Stop laughing, it's not funny.

Good job the interviewer didn’t ask him why he’d lost his role and pushed off to one with less responsibility within the King Power during that focus on Thailand

Bar stools are used in quite a lot of corporate type interviews like these.

 

It just further adds to staging and the “it’s not what you say impact”. 

 

The main reasoning for using them is it gives better posture as they’re not slouched, so the people show more energy and ten to fidget less. 

 

You can also frame people in cameras better and it tends to look a lot cleaner than bucket / couch settings. 
 

The white background is another “staged” setting, as it makes it look cleaner. 
 

It is all physiological to basically say “trust me”.

I know it won’t happen but the only thing that would lead to me giving them a chance to get it right would be Dan Ashworth or Paul Mitchell

Well we can add that point to the ever growing list of other failures he's committed. 

 

The BS. The staging. The controlled questions and answers. The lack of true accountability. The "I know fans are frustrated" but it's not my fault because.. The real reason behind the "interview"  - being to save face and his own embarrassment.

 

All of it makes my Pi$$ Boil, and the sooner he fvcks off taking Rudkin and  other incompetent and unqualified KP leaches their various roles the better.  

 

Only then when the same mistakes are not being repeated (which they will)  will we as a club start to heal and move forward again.
