Bear in mind that Thomas came on fresh against some proper cloggers that had already played 80 minutes. He won't go past people like that normally.

You're right but Silko's ability is still unknown and game time reveals more. I love the way Fatawu plays the game, but all positions need to be fought for, it brings the best out of them.

Wish we had a bit longer to enjoy the weekend result, just feel it's inevitable we come back down to earth with another midweek shocker tonight.

That's it just be negative. . . . .

Totally agree 2-0 defeat incoming

He’ll change Ricardo for Hamza and we’ll struggle

I wouldn’t be against Ricardo having a rest, as long as it’s Aluko who’s replacing him.

Aluko and Jayden Joseph are the future at RB and I hope we take their development seriously.

I don’t mind Hamza when he’s coming off the bench to protect a lead and add a bit of bite in midfield. That’s a good role for him at this level.

I don't see what that Faes fella has done wrong personally

Ah shit, Hilde Faes has now hacked other members accounts.

I'm not sure Ricardo is the huge miss he once was even in this league. He gave the ball away so much against Derby and just looks fragile.

You'd seriously pick Faes over Nelson? I'd be happy if Faes never played for us again but that's unlikely until we get Okoli and Souttar back.

Nelson is a Rolls Royce of a player, and the next big money departure imo ( hopefully not too soon) . The difference between the two was shown at Derby with an incident second half, Derby player running at him at pace, Nelson back pedalling but then, before the box stepped up to win the ball. Faes would have carried on back pedalling and maybe fallen over! He should’ve been playing all last season too, the cameo’s under Enzo showed that.

I explained why in a previous post.

Wonder if Souttar is going to go straight in to being on the bench, thought he would play for the 21's last night. Perhaps he'll get 45 in the 21's against Preston next week.

Think this game is really important. We need to show, performance wise at least, that last week wasn't a fluke.  We should win this, but even if we dont we need to show the same levels of performance that we did against Derby. Win it, and we are right back in the fight for playoff spots (before points deductions obvs).

If we can win this and get a point against Ipswich, i would like to think we are seeing some progress,

Still creating very little and potentially over confident going into this one. Going for Bristol City 2-1 with a couple of Scott Twine worldies.

I'll just take effort, no suicidal passing in our own 3rd and a genuine desire to create chances.

Didn’t Vardy miss about 5 chances against these last time? One of the Easter games I think?

Yes, Hamza put in one of the most half arsed displays I've ever seen as well.
