Abhorrent.

We've got the biggest wage bill the best facilities by far and look out on our feet sometimes with various injuries and players looking absolutely done over with a couple of games.

What the hell are we doing?

Its a good point but I feel the injuries are killing us at the moment. We have a lack of options in centre mid and centre back at the moment plus left back. We seem to have a fair few older players like Vestergaard, Ayew, Reid etc and then some really young players but not so much in between. Can't put my finger on it other than the injury problems but it's clear to see that these players haven't played a decent 90 minutes all season.

We are not a proper squad. We are the remnants of previous squads, totally disjointed, too many players in certain positions and not enough in others. Woeful, useless and being killed by neglect from the ownership.

Couldn’t be more true, Marti isn’t great and some of the players haven’t covered themselves in glory but this is 95% the squad planning, multiple people on 6/7 figure salaries should be able to put together a functional group of employees, its management 101, not even football management, basic management that a manager at Maccies would probably require, hopefully the new TD sorts it out but I will bet it’ll be another KP pawn

It's definitely a problem. Unable to properly rotate tonight due to the rightful freezing out of certain individuals but we still have an advantage over a lot of the league and you'd never think it.

Not sure that has anything to do with how fit they are, the minimum ask should be they are fit.

What did he say?

I feel I cant say with an assumption its accurate word for word, but it was something along the lines the place became too comfortable for a place of work, a sauna type experience, instead of a training ground.

I and others have been saying this since the latter part of the Bodgers era. I believe this also contributes to a lot of our injuries. The fitness coaching staff is too touchy freely in my opinion. The pl winning season managers like Klopp were in awe of our fitness. However when Harvey Barnes left us Newcastle were shocked at how unfit he was. Even against Derby we were  a 45 minute side. The back room and Seagrave cabal needs a clear out we are too comfortable throughout the whole club. Back to basics.

Believe it or not, we likely distanced ourselves from the high fitness demands because of the awful injury’s we got with Rodgers. We literally just use sea grave as a spa these days with occasional footy

Okay, so it's the players not Seagrave?

The problem is, since we moved the Seagrave, players we brought in, have been brought for possession based football, and they are not suited to high energy football, everyone else is playing, so it’s no wonder our players look knackered!
