That relies on Ayew not being Ayew though.

 

Get him to goal hang, look for scraps and not be involved in any build play.  He scored because he hadn’t dropped deep and held onto the ball for too long, he was in the box. More like that is needed from him. 
 

Don’t play him all game like Marti has and then drop him deeper, he becomes more lazy and ineffectual as the game goes on.

Ayew having a good game or not always depends on the referee and how much they are willing to protect him. If they aren't, his entire game is ineffective.

Also, you'd want to be in a situation where we don't need to push Ramsey or Monga back so soon on their return from significant injuries.

The more we win now, the less disastrous impact any 6 to 9 point deduction will have when it arrives. 

So we should be playing zero risk as possible at the back style and just try and just get around ayew to get our quality attacking players up the pitch. 

9 pointa from the next 3 would (i think) see us top 12 in the new year even if wr get points taken off.

QPR are no mugs but I suspect we will score and therefore likely relies on us continuing to defend well.

One thing I think MC deserves credit for is the attacking nature of his bench. 
 

One utility defender / midfielder, a keeper, and all other players attackers

Ramsey to get 20 mins for BDCR so we can keep our structure, and ease him back in. 
 

Maybe run outs for Monga, Page and I guess Carranza otherwise we’re going to be relying on Ayew playing 90 every game over the next few weeks. 
 

Interestingly Carranza is on 9 apps for us and hasn’t featured at all in the last 7… Wonder if there’s any clause of us having to pay an additional amount if he makes 10 apps? Maybe we’ll see S Thomas thrown on upfront?
