I agree with your statement, however there is nothing better than a full-on boycott of the matches.

As far as King Power are concerned, the protestors are still paying towards the club and filling the stadium's seats.

No argument from me, but even Blackpool used different methods along with full boycotts. They're the model to follow when it comes to getting rotten owners out in England.

Even if we set up with:

        Soumaré       Choudhury
                      BDCR

as a midfield, that still, STILL,  should be enough to beat both Oxford and Charlton at home.

If we don't win both, that's on the manager. He would have to go.

Soumare is a lazy, uninterested fraud who goes on the occasional barn storming run to lie to fan's that he's a footballer.  His tracking back is virtually non existent, and the concept of earning his astronomical paypacket by getting stuck in is alien to him.

Hamza is a walking red card that whilst he's unlike "The Jogging Donkey " and willing to put in a shift in, IMO just charges around without any real control  tactical awareness, and self restraint.

Neither are what our currently depleted midfield need. Their footballing characteristics if played together would hinder not help.

BDCR  has had a few half decent games, and if Marti does do what we expect and play dumb and lazy dumber then his greater experience than Page's potentially could be the better option, this one is actually a tricky one to call. Page has seemed to do well when coming on as a sub,

Mmmmm... I'm not sure here.

Please don't think I'm defending the manager with my comments, it's just that I can't share your opinion  that  Soumare and Hamza together in our midfield  should be enough to beat both Oxford and Charlton at home.

I just don't think we're good enough to play with a single forward and with JJ out this will isolate them even more.

I'd change formation and go 3-5-2:

                            Beg

        Okoli          Vesty      Nelson

                          Hamza

 Fats         Page        Ricardo      Mavs

                 Ayew        Daka

Vesty can ping quick passes in the midfield and also Hamza has to do is tackle and be physical.

Bring Aluko and Silko second half for additional pace.

Was also thinking similar, but drop Ayew, move Mav to ST, Aluko to the wing back. I’d also rather see Golding than Hamza, sick of him.

Of course it will be as many of the same as usual as he can field, but if I was in charge I'd shake things up.

-              Begovic

-    Okoli Veste Nelson

Pereira                       Aluko

-          Choudhury

        Page Soumare

-       Daka   Mavididi

I'm sick of 4-2-3-1, and while 5-3-2 feels negative at home to Oxford it's a good time to try a new formation. This would get extra bodies to make up for weaknesses in central defence, central midfield and up front.

Seems strange to drop Fatawu but he needs to know there's a consequence to rotten form. Could still be a second half sub.

Daka needs a strike partner and I feel like an out of position Mavididi could be more of a threat than Ayew.

Christ, we are shit.

Decent, but I'd keep Stolarczyk, he needs a clean sheet to build up confidence. Oxford is hardly a scoring powerhouse, only 25 goals so far.

trouble is, he is absolutely terrible at the moment and highly likely to basically throw the ball in the back of the net. He should be benched today

2 of them were against us haha

We really need to win today to put more daylight between them and us, especially if we are getting a points deduction. That would leave it between us and one other for relegation assuming we get 9 points. As much as I hate what we are I certainly do not want another relegation.

Oxford will come here confident, smelling blood, we’re a wounded animal with shot confidence, dodgy keeper, dodgy defence that doesn’t keep clean sheets, patched up midfield and blunt forward line. The pressure is on us, they’ll see it as a rare chance for an away (or any) win.

Without JJ’s quality and Skipps energy and work rate in midfield i genuinely think today could be quite ugly. We will create very little and be powder puff to play through, I would add that both players missing today are effectively our heart beat when they are at it so are we.

Would not be shocked if we get turned over 2-0 and it gets very very toxic.

Unfortunately, and I love the lad, our number one keeper can spill a ball to the opposition in every single game, get injured and Bergović plays a blinder, but he slots straight back in when he’s recovered. Is he even being trained to get the ball clear when he blocks? Harsh on Begović to have so few starts this season.

Key word is SHOULD be enough. Probably, likely, very likely won't be 😂

We’re horrific to watch but I think today Marti and the gang will take it up a notch

Ayew - 90 minutes

Thomas back

Soumare and Hamza in the middle

Hoof ball

Pass it to wingers and see if they can do anything

Instead of Page playing, Marti turns to a Bobby Reid and Soumare midfield, and Ayew and Daka up top after we go 2-0 down (we then concede a 3rd)

Went for a run this morning and saw a dead fox on the side of the road. Ominous.

It still sounds in a healthier position than us to be fair…
