Muzzy_no7 Posted 2 February Posted 2 February Stinks. And yet again we are leaving all the deals to the last minute. 1
HankMarvin Posted 2 February Posted 2 February Your all complaining about a striker, but he got 3 times as many goals as Daka last season 👀 1 3

Brooksy Posted 2 February Posted 2 February I'm convinced the club are just doing it on purpose at this point. 1
Tommy Fresh Posted 2 February Posted 2 February Be class when he ends up taking game time from Page etc 1

AKCJ Posted 2 February Posted 2 February I do think that Aiyawatt will have looked at that list of the highest wages in the Championship and assumed that this lad is world class because he’s at the top end of it. 1
Foxin_Mad Posted 2 February Posted 2 February I wonder if he will wake up when we are in League 1 next season, because with this level of signings, it is happening without a shadow of a doubt, ever other team strengthens we just add more shite. 1

The scary part is you're actually right. Its not a joke.

I wonder how many times a day Top manages to fail a CAPTCHA. “Select all the world class players from this list:. Ayew. Aribo. Golding. Bertrand. Faes. Soumare. If none, click Skipp.” 1
brookfox Posted 2 February Posted 2 February 3 minutes ago, KFS said: Such a bizarre move Is it though? We started at the weekend with Hamza and Page in midfield. Not wanting to be harsh on Page at this stage of his career but that is nowhere near strong enough and we're also small and weak (mentally and physically) in midfield. Yes we have Skipp coming back and maybe/maybe not Winks, but we need improvements in midfield particularly with JJ out. On a loan (assuming we're not covering all his wages) it's a risk worth taking in my view. What will be bizarre is if we match his current wages on a long term deal at the end of the season. 3
indierich06 Posted 2 February Posted 2 February It's just a backup option while other players get fit tbf, nothing to get excited about - but it is what it is

LeePhilpottsBaldSpot Posted 2 February Posted 2 February Can't say I know anything about him but we need an extra body in midfield. The noise coming from Southampton fans is worrying, but I'm glad we're at least getting somebody in.
LCFCCKEANO Posted 2 February Posted 2 February Think the options are untested raw youngsters like Mukasa or guys like him. Have Mukasa in but at least Aribo is a seasoned pro even if he is a bit crap. Will be better than having Page and Choudhury sat deep as a pair if we lose Skipp/James/Mukasa again 1

We can't start Page and Choudhury in the middle, end of. Aribo is probably better than Hamza, and is better than Page at this point in his young career. Winks attitude still a question mark, and James out injured, it would be stupid not to sign someone. Some combo of Aribo/Skipp/Winks until JJ is back will be better than what we started with on Sat. 2
