He’s 6’2” as well so quite a unit. Can’t remember the last tall fast striker we had. Given his youth career and lack of real game time I’m expecting him to be a bit raw but let’s see. Let’s be honest, the bar is low!

He's not any kind of target man and I wouldn't expect to see much from him in the air.

Tbh he doesn't even play much like a striker, he's like a taller, more raw Abdul with less of a right foot.

Nearly all the Chelsea youth videos I've seen of him on YouTube he's playing RW.

He hasn't played as a striker once this season for Chelsea U23's, always as a RW, so I wouldn't expect him to come in and solve our striker problem.

Striker may end up being his best position, but he has little-to-no pedigree in that position to justify him being a first-choice striker in the Championship. I suspect he is backup for Fatawu first and foremost.

So paraphrasing slightly, what I'm hearing is he's currently a winger but Kings going to transform him into a striker as basically the next Theirry Henry. Gotcha!

I honestly just think he was a 0 hour panic and we've grabbed any forward that a big six club was willing to loan out for free.

Think he's here to make up numbers and will barely get a kick.

Ayew first choice for the rest of the season. Great.

Death, taxes & new signings saying "I cant wait to get started"

They weren't signed for their media skills.

To be fair, we did once have the two greatest English strikers of this generation in our squad once and kept them on the bench or played them on the wing... So we do have form.

Ayew, born in France, plays for Ghana

Got a feeling we my give Mukasa a go up front as 2 of his 3 apps for Man City in the league cup where as CF.

I don't under why we have given Daka more minutes at least he runs around and stretches the field vertically.

I suppose one of Lascelles, Mukasa, Richards or Aribo has to come in and have a Jordan James level contribution for us to really stand a chance if rumours of a 6-9 point deduction are true.

I'm quietly confident that Mukasa will be the business. Everything i'm hearing from Man City fans/journalists is really encouraging.

A combination of Lascelles, a new coach getting the basics right and JJ coming back from injury will keep us safe imo.

I doubt either of the kids or Aribo will make profound difference.

Mukasa definitely looks the most likely of the two but you never know. He's obviously got more ability but it's about how they respond mentally to stepping up to senior football in front of actual, real crowds and until they do we won't know.

Let’s hope he replicates this !

Yeah - he isn't going to get defending like that in the Championship.
