Great that the club statement and the report they link to, does not include the confirmation of the points deduction. Such transparency.

Well it's a good point isn't it? It's both completely relevant and not relevant at all to us. Obviously a more complicated case than ours and shouldn't have a bearing on what we get deducted, but it's also been going on for eternity and no closer to getting sorted so have to question the priorities of the lawmakers.

And hate to break it to you, but the last bit of your comment is not that of somebody who is sound of mind :D

The relevance is Everton and Forest's cases. They've gone through now with successful points deductions.

why do people keep saying its not as bad as they thought

thought it was obvious it would be around 6 points, just going by what everton and forest got

Man City's on the other hand, could be biblical

Ohhhhh he said “we get promote next season” so confidently because he knew we’d be in league one

I suspect the rumours of 10 points were being put about by the club to ensure exactly this reaction.

I was reading that the club were expecting 6 points.

The Man City charges weren’t PSR related. It’s like getting arrested for shop lifting and moaning that someone else got away with murder.

We’d be wise to just accept the deduction, create a siege mentality and fight to stay up. I’m sick of all the bad publicity. It’s time to just put this behind us now and concentrate on staying up. 6 points keeps us the right side of the red line. Be grateful it’s not closer to double.

the club haven't done this because the owner is more about saving face and not willing to concede.

The call for siege mentality should have occurred at the start of last season. He's dim. But most of all, he's bound by the business culture of his geography. This will only go down once he's fully sunken the ship.

As punishment for his involvement in this fiasco, Rudkin's promotion upstairs will be taken away and he'll remain DoF. 🥷

Its more annoying when you consider we got into the position for buying shite players on stupid wages. Absolutely zero to show for it except a load of overpaid crap in the wings. All totally avoidable.

Anyone posted the LCFC statement yet?

In late 2025, an Independent Commission heard a case brought by the Premier League against Leicester City Football Club for alleged breaches of profitability and sustainability rules for the three-year period ending June 2024. The action was brought by the Premier League after an initial investigation was passed on by the EFL, as the Club was competing in the EFL Championship during the applicable season and promoted upon its conclusion.

The Commission’s decision can be found . The Club has responded with the following statement:

STATEMENT

It is with disappointment that Leicester City acknowledges the Independent Commission’s decision and the Club will use the time available to consider its next steps.

While the Commission’s findings significantly reduced the unprecedented scale of the sanction originally sought by the Premier League, the recommendation remains disproportionate and does not adequately reflect the mitigating factors presented, the importance of which cannot be overstated given the potential impact on our sporting ambitions this season.

We appreciate the Commission’s agreement with the Club’s position that compliance for FY24 should be assessed over a 36-month period – an important point both for the period in question, but also in providing the Club with certainty on its PSR/P&S compliance for FY25. The panel also agreed there were no aggravating factors which should be applied to the sanction, which is something the Club had maintained throughout, and acknowledged the Club demonstrated a positive trend in its finances in FY24.

We are now reviewing the decision in full and considering the options available to us. We remain committed to engaging constructively and ensuring that any action is fair, proportionate and determined through the appropriate processes.

Can’t wait for the statement!

"Leicester City are very disappointed to recieve a 6 points deduction due to unfair PSR rules which Mr Rudkin is still trying to explain to Top using monopoly money.  The club reiterated to fans that "we all fail together"  and fans are being asked to donate £50 to the "save KPFC" fund at the remaining home matches this season"

  • Breaching the EFL Championship Profit & Sustainability Rules for the 2023–24 season.

  • Failing to submit annual accounts by the required deadline (to the Premier League).

  • Failing to provide full, complete and prompt cooperation with the league’s financial inquiries.

3 charges total with 2 points attached to each charge basically. 6 points.  People were speculating saying crazy numbers like 10 to 12 points lol

Sounds like a load of corporate, legal waffle.
