Ultimately 2 points dropped but at least We stuck at it for 90 minutes and should have nicked the win which is a positive. Mukasa was excellent in the second half and set up Mavididi, Aribo and Thomas but none of them could finish.  I don’t think playing Monga from the start in a relegation battle is  the way forward either and I’m glad he made the change for Aribo.
 

Rowett is definitely more visible with his in game management than we have seen for some time which I like. But he needs to st us up to cut out the crosses that we seem to just watch floating onto the opposing players head/foot.

To be fair he’s got a low bar so it was one of his better games.

We done alright second half still plenty of signs we could get relegated hopefully we get James back soon as he will make a big difference in the middle

Attacking in the second half massive improvement, still poor at the back, we spend too much time passing the ball around deep at the back that something that need to be addressed, when actually move the ball out quickly we look dangerous, lots of positives to work on

Ayew has a cut on his foot. Abdul's knee is playing up which is a worry.

This isn't the time for Monga. He only played because Fatawu was out but he's not going to get us out the mess we are in. 

 

If we get James ,Mukassa and Fatawu fit with 10 games left I think we comfortably stay up. 

 

There's more avenues that lead to us going down though as it stands. 

 

Much improved second half but it's almost even more disgraceful to see they have it in them. If we were just this shit it wouldn't be so frustrating.

Same problem as before. We can never play two halves of decent football. We are completely useless at defending free kicks, crosses and corners. Hopefully the manager can teach them the basics of defending. A fit Lascelles would help.

Would really like to have seen Aribo follow up on his shot. Just stood there admiring what he had done, who knows where the ball would have ended up had someone at least put some pressure on

Absolutely useless at everything he does.  We are always one Ricardo back pass to Okoli away from a goal.  The whole back 4 seem to be unable to do the basics.

Reminds me of 2023 when we drew with Leeds, Everton and Newcastle. Most people on here maintained they were good results, but they were the games we needed to win.

Maybe harsh for the 2nd but the ball landing in the six yard box for both goals is poor from the keeper.
