Overall, much improved performance, a step up from the previous game.

 

Very impressed by Thomas. I know he gets a lot of stick, but the man's got iron lungs. Unbelievable shift he put in tonight.

I just can't stand seeing Ayew in a Leicester shirt for much longer. Guy's an energy drain, sucking all life and attacking intent out of the team.

 

A point is a point is a point.

 

Norwich on Saturday is a must-win game, there's no other way.

 

And how about a clean sheet for a change. It's been 28 games now... Or 31 games where we have conceded a goal or more (out of 34). Horrendous stat.

Time will tell if that's a good result, but its a much improved effort from us. 

At least you come away thinking they've put a bit of fight in and deserve a clap off.

 

Not seen a midfield work that hard for a a long while. Skipp was everywhere and Winks was good too. 

 

One poor mistake as always, but overall defended the box well. A shame we don't have a striker that looks like scoring.

 

Nice to see a bit of togetherness.

I imagine Rowett has seen the stats on our running and effectiveness in all parts of the pitch and just demanded a shit load of more effort from everyone. 

 

Whether it's sprints forward, tracking back, playing the ball forward quicker. Visibly it's a remarkable improvement within a week to get some tangible results. This hard work pays off eventually. Just hope we haven't left it too late...

Shout out to Luke Thomas who was outstanding tonight. He's rightly been singled out for criticism this season, but he thoroughly deserves some praise for that performance this evening.

It was an improvement but fvck me it’s a very low bar tbh. The lack of quality in almost every aspect of our play is astonishing. Mukasa is a super talent at this level. James Jordan is needed desperately to stand any chance of avoiding relegation.

Wasted some great scoring opportunities and promising positions but credit where its due ...this was a massive improvement with effort and intent which we haven't been seeing this season .Still work to do in defence and we have cut out those sloppy careless passes but we'll done 👏

Much much much better. Its hard to explain. Felt like we had a game plan.

 

Other than the brain fart (and maybe Daka's header) that was there for the taking. But we weren't holding on for dear life. We frsutrated them and came very close to winning it.

 

Back 4 looked much better (apart from he who cannot pass).

 

Ayew worst player on the pitch.  I get Daka cant play every 90, but we have to try something else.
