Huge improvement, shame Ayew was given 30 minutes, at least Daka was taking defenders away to open up opportunities for Reid and Mukasa, even if he was running the wrong way.

Decent point in the end but ayew just needs binning and give the young lad on loan a go he must be able to at least run which is an improvement on ayew .

In the grand scheme of things. It’s a good point. Undefeated from two tough away games. Time to build on this with a win on Saturday. A big brain fart has cost us, but we already look better defensively and much more fluent in attack. Nice to see them battling for everything. First game this season where we’ve shown a bit of a backbone I think. 
 

No results went against us either which is a small bonus. 
 

Shout out to everyone that travelled, great effort.

We'd all have taken a point before the game but Boro were atrocious and looked absolutely knackered.

 

We need all the points we can get and they were willing to giftwrap us 3 of them and we seemingly refused to go after them and take it.

 

Bringing Ayew on when they couldn't deal with our press just let them relax and see out the point.

Revolting, because we’ve drawn to a team with Matt Targett and Luke Ayling in it…..

 

Revolting because it’s EFL football. 
 

But given the context of this miserable season, it’s not a terrible point. 
 

But, I think we should have won, thought they were ****ing awful. We look more resilient, and you can see Gaz has made us more solid… but we’ve conceded a very poor goal again, and have wasted good opportunities to win the game. Mukasa was the best player on the pitch by some considerable margin. 
 

Still not happy though.

The team defended and attacked as a unit. Work rate and organisation was much better. It's very encouraging. We seem to have a manager who demands standards.

 

Skipp has to start every game. He's the only midfielder who offers anything defensively. He bailed them out a few times tonight covering.

No idea what Rowett has done in less than 1 week, but that's our best performance of the season. A decent point given the respective places of each side in the table, but make no mistake, aside from one stupid error we should have taken all three points tonight. We genuinely looked the better side tonight. Keep this up and we'll be fine.

Good point and decent performance, no complaints from me. Skipp absolute immense. Winks excellent just a shame he hasn’t been that player all season. 

Back 4 were really good tonight. Promising signs and fair play to Rowett, 3 solid 45 minutes out of 4

Last two games has renewed a bit of enthusiasm. I think we have just enough to stay up. Winks has proved in the last two games that he's let us down during the rest of this season so far.

Definite improvement in energy, effort and pressing with the new manager. Good away point and 2 more in the last 2 matches than I expected. Actually looking quite good going forward with Mukasa making a massive difference. Still work to do in defence.

Winks was very good. As was Skipp. Mukasa is a special player. We looked so much better organised at the back. Thomas and Ricky both played a lot better. 
 

They just didn’t look terrified, which is a massive improvement.
