I dunno, no organisation is perfect but I feel like you don't last long in the City Group if you're that incompetent.

Not like me to defend anything the club has done but I'm not sure net profit is something CFG are that bothered about

James will support and help shape the Club’s player recruitment and identification strategy

What will this shit actually look like 🤔

To be more like a poundland Man City?
Having to rely on frees and loans because we’ve got no money?

They basically just spent a load of money on young players when he was there

A lot of them are then loaned out, sold on, or moved around the City group clubs

Might actually start using our link with Leuven properly?

Doubt it though

How can you be finance director/controller at the club for several years and oversee the past 4/5yrs of financial mismanagement, but then 'stepped in' when we faced difficulty about PSR?

Where the fvck was he beforehand, and what the fvck was he doing?!

If McCarron is still here in September i'll be amazed.

At this point I think we (as in foxestalk) are long overdue stopping believing everyone LCFC hire is some sort of simpleton that doesn't do any due diligence and is walking in here blind.

It was daft when people thought we duped Enzo about having money to recruit in that January, it was more daft when people thought the same about Marti or Ruud.

McCarron isn't turning up here naively thinking the place isn't a mess. He isn't going to be horrified with what he sees, he's seen all the disputes with EFL and the Prem and us barely spending a penny in 18 odd months.

I imagine he's referring to the fact that talented employees don't tend to stick around for very long.

But he’s got a new hat!

He's just a regular director of football with a stupid job title. He still embodies the ****ups he did before.

If he's any good I'm sure he won't be here forever but I doubt he's out the door that fast, even accounting for a bit of hyperbole.
