I think Monga has been drastically worse and ineffectual than Mavididi and Fatawu. Not his fault - he's only 16!

Just don't think chucking a 16 year old into a relegation scrap is the answer.

I respect your opinion, and no, Monga hasn't pulled up any trees. But he's had significantly fewer chances than either of the others.
We've loaned in Aribo on massive wages presumably, yet he barely features for 10-15 minutes a game.
At some point you have to switch it up and give someone else a chance, especially when performances like Fatawu's against Ipswich and Mavididi for a long period now, have been substandard.
Why does an off-form BDCR who recently let the side down badly walk straight back in when Mukasa is in form and fit? How awful must Aribo and Page be to keep getting overlooked?

OK.  One swallow doesn't make a summer.

Same again (jn both perfirmance, application and hopefully a win) against QPR and I might start to believe a bit more.

Yes we were better, but Bristol were poor, and I still think the starting line up with Drink Driver, the Falling Snail, and BdR was dog sh1t, regardless of the result ( which I'll now put my contradictory hat on) which I'm ecstatic about along with the clean sheet.

Let's see what the next match brings, oh and I still want King Power well and  truly  out.!

Credit where it's due, unselfishly set up Fatawu with an overhead kick instead of going for goal himself!

Just seen the headline on a Bristol City Podcast....

"Leicester were poor but outplayed them in that respect."

Hmmm, just a bit salty then

I think what they mean is that they outplayed Leicester in the sense of being poorer than Leicester.

Poor grammar but not really salty, unless of course we were really good last night, which I couldn't comment on as I didn't watch the game.

Poor grammar but refreshingly self-effacing rather than salty I'd suggest.

I do get that. It is more to do with claiming that we were poor when really we were not.

It's that old chestnut put down after your team has lost basically claiming that the opposition were also shite. Just sour grapes.

The “we are staying up” chants really ****ing irritated me. Like it’s a ****ing achievement.

I thought there was a bit of humour in it to be honest.

No humour for me in this club being where it is right now, after where it has been in the last 10 years.

Should never have happened and quite frankly even being above the dotted line at the end of the season is still an embarrassment.

Judging by some of those who go to the games, I don’t think so…. Even as a tongue in cheek it’s not really funny……

Exactly.

My expectations are we shouldn’t even be in this league. So, I won’t be celebrating a single thing until we’re out of it…… which ongoing to happen anytime soon.

You have to accept where you, are at a given time.   You can't just constantly say "we shouldn't be in this position".

In 2008, I accepted we were a 3rd Division team.   And 8 years later, I accepted we were Champions of England.    Things can change very quickly; up or down.

We currently have a much poorer team than many people think - for example, a shaky defence and no recognised striker.   And we've just had a 6 points deduction.

If we avoid relegation this season, it will be an achievement ... whether we like it, or not.

I can’t wait for the open bus tour of the city when our place in the championship is confirmed next season. Aiyawatt and Rudkin front, left and centre of the celebrations as the KPFC brigade clap and cheer with Brocky as MC

I’d never say we shouldn’t be in this league or anything as historically that is not the case for us.

However, in the last 100 years, we have had 13 seasons lower than the top half of the 2nd tier (12 in the bottom half and of course the 1 in the 3rd tier). 13% is a minority so it is not entitled to have expectations that are higher than sitting in the relegation zone in this league. Remember 5 of those 13 seasons were consecutive from 2004-2009 so it only leaves 8 in 95 years which is less than 8.5%.

Our average position is something like 22nd so in today’s terms 2nd in this league and our record 2nd tier titles matches this.

We are historically bad in the history of the club right now. So yes back the team and get them over the line based on the job at hand given where we currently are. But let’s not glorify it. This season is a complete embarrassment being where we are with the highest wage bill by a huge distance as well.

I agree, but wait till we actually are staying up before singing.

Again, a completely irrelevant point of view.

I’ll keep coming back to it, because it’s a fact that can’t be ignored, or diminished.

in 2008 we hadn’t had £600m pass through the club in it’s existence, let alone previous decade.

So no, I don’t accept where we are, and I will continue to protest until king power are gone.

I won’t be celebrating anything until that day comes, and those who want it, have their Leicester city back.

Oh, I forgot that true fans fold their arms and refuse to celebrate because of what should be, rather than how it is.

That’s just accepting failure in my opinion. And being complicit in the clubs decline.

We are just Micheal Carroll.

The money has now run out, our new found friends don't like us anymore and we are back working in a scrapyard.

And whose fault is it that the cash has run out?

All on Micheal and his hangers on unfortunately. It was those happy years when bin men winning the lottery excited the nation.
