If Rowett has any sense he’ll take account of how starting with Ayew will go down with the crowd, and the impact that will have on the atmosphere in the ground, and choose somebody else instead.

100% agree btw. It was a despairing exclamation. Makes me sad how we got here. Remember ganes like that Sheffield Wednesday home game years ago,  stadium packed etc. Yes they ballsed it up then too but , that level of tension and care is so gone isnt it. They took it from us.

First game of the season as I refuse to spend good money watching rubbish football, however it is bank holiday/ hopefully the sun is shining and I too am on the beers.

Can't see us winning this after the manager went away for the weekend during the international break.

Daka and BDCR won't start given that they'll be back so late from international commitments. James also a big doubt. So, I guess Rowett will go for Mukasa in the 10 with Ayew up front.
