Time's running out. Seven games to go.

The next four matches are utterly crucial:

Preston (H) Must-win
Wednesday (A) Must-win (if we can't beat these, we've completely lost it)

Swansea (H) Must-win

Portsmouth (A) Must-win (relegation contenders, as well)

I don't want to wait until the final day of the season, and that against Blackburn, to find out whether we'll avoid relegation or not.

We’ll win our next 4 having us on 51 points and be safe from there. Happy days. We’ll look back and wonder why we were ever worried.

If we get 8pts or more from the next 4 games I’d be shocked

Pointless even mentioning kids, especially ones that haven't played at all, Rowett has made it very clear he's going for experience

Incredible that we watch that lazy **** Ayew lumber round the pitch and Dakinbiyi miss chance after chance and 17 year old Evans is 40 miles down the road with a couple of MOTM awards under his belt and Maswanhise is top scorer in the Scots Prem having never got a look in here.

The DoF's speciality was spotting youth talent wasn't it?

The mind boggles. Stephy was dreadful today but BdcR? What on earth did he do to warrant you wishing him back in the team? He's a disgrace

edit;

Did you see his attempt at a routine trapping of the ball that he missed completely and went out of play?

The three times he was bundled off the ball with ease?

The time he caught the ball and gave away a free kick?

His usual little flick round the corner which just about worked and found a colleague, immediately given back to him and he panicked a d was bundled off the  ball?

Sounds an ideal replacement for our incompetent strikers, when can he start?

Richards is pretty obviously non league standard, League Two level at best or we'd have seen him get at least a few cameos at the end of games.

They probably just don't trust a lad who hasn't really played much English competitive football. Rowett wants experience.

However, I actually think I'd give Richards a go up front. He's a big lad so should be able to hold ball up, and can't be any worse than Ayew or Daka.

As we all know our striking options are absolutely atrocious. When's Souttar back. Stick him up front.

speaking as someone who is 18 on the day we play blackburn id rather it would be over and done with by then and safety secured

Wow 18, you lucky so and so, on my reckoning I think this’ll be the first time you’ve seen us crap. It’s been many cycles for me,( first game mid sixties and only watched them when I wasn’t playing in the mid 70’s and 80’s )but this is the worst by far.

So it begs the question why have we signed him? Add him to the list of strange signings.

Lorenz Hutchinson on 15 goals in 14 games in the academy, should be looking at players like this for the bench now especially when the likes of Ayew have a seat.

You must have been fuming when you saw him put that cross in where Daka missed basically an open goal

Perfect ball in

I honestly think them deadline day signings had minimising the fan unrest in mind. They'd clearly missed out on all main targets and couldn't afford a decent striker.

Signing just about anyone is enough to keep the flask drinkers happy.

Another winnable game but so was QPR.

And Oxford, Chatlton, Norwich..

.

PNE have little to play for, comfort zone, cant really get into the play offs, wont be going down,  on the beach...can only be disaster for us as our bottlers will capitulate as usual.

1-3

Actually feel a little relieved they got their win to break their poor run before coming to us. Time to stand up and be counted. Back to back Easter wins to see us rise from the dead.

I just don’t understand it……. Daka and Ayew don’t score goals…… so what difference does experience make? If he was to come in and score 5 goals between now and Blackburn he’s been a success, the bar is that low. It’s one of the reasons we’re in the shit, sometimes you need to be brave, need to be bold.

It’s clear to me we’re not staying up with Daka and Ayew playing, I mean Ayew gets boo’d onto the pitch for **** sake, neither of them will be here next season. You’re relying on something that isn’t working to suddenly yield results. Bringing an academy lad in might even improve things slightly.

Whoever stays up will be the ones who took a risk somewhere, be it a formation change, brining in an academy player…. Something…. Those who don’t change anything will get relegated, because you’re replying on blind hope things will improve when there’s scant evidence it will.

He’s another limited caveman manger with the thought process of experienced = good in tough situations.  Like Marti, I’m sure he has watched any of our games and highlights. They got us into this mess when the pressure was off.

He hasn’t improved or added anything to the  attacks in the form of passages of play or stopping the bottlenecks that Mav, Ayew and Fats constantly repeat.  Our most fluid attack period of late was the first game Mukasa came in. Daka was pressing from the front and Mukasa was instinctively passing into the space ahead in the wings, that forced Daka and even Thomas to overlap.  Of course Mav stayed still.  It seems like Mukasa has tempered his forward passes because attackers are too static.

And the cross that Daka should’ve scored. By no means a Bobby Reid fan but he is not as bad as you are making out especially compared to what we currently have. Mavididi spent that game repeatedly hitting the ball into the man in front of hims shins, don’t really see how that helps either. Both are pretty crap and Monga is 16, I’d go Mavididi but Reid starting instead will not be the reason we lose(if we do)

The amount of 'must win' games been stated over the last 4 weeks that we haven't won and yet just 1 point from safety says it all as to how crap the teams down the bottom are.

If we beat Wednesday, Portsmouth & Blackburn reckon that's enough, can't see Oxford or Pompey winning 3 games.
