Forget Davies or Robins joining this mess of a club in league 1.
I’d look at Challinor if Stockport don’t go up, Cleverly at Plymouth and Michael Duff at Wycombe.
Not convinced with getting ex players in like Fuchs.
Mainly because how shit Rowett and King have been.

Nobody associated with Brendan Rodgers' time here should be considered to manage us ever, so hard no on Davies.

Plus, he spent more on 1 player in league 1 than the rest of the league combined to piss it, and have been massively disappointing this year, would have expected them to do an Ipswich and push for back to back given their size and money.

We either need Pearson or our new Pearson to build from the bottom, no head coach, we need a manager who takes charge of the club. If Stockport don't go up I'd take Dave Challinor, similarly Clough would be on my radar as well.

I like Michael Duff great shout and if the club want to try and keep this style of play going, he can do it, hopefully though with a bit more pragmatism to when to do it though. The performance he got out of Cheltenham in 2021 against man city was amazing had them sweating for 80 minutes.

With likely to use the youth more Lee Carsley would get my vote, but would he leave England under 21s to manage us.. probably not.

Yes same. He's done 5 years at the U21s and would be an unlikely successor for England. He could even job share potentially, others have done it... Peter Taylor did for the U21s. Though I imagine he'd want a clean break.

I think our remit of play the kids, coach and develop them, synergy with the youth teams, maximise the probable limited Seagrave going forward, and have a say in the youth loans we're guaranteed to have next season fits him without pressure. Also he'll be very familiar with Nelson, Thomas, Skipp and be aware of  Braybrooke, Alves and some of the younger lads.

Just makes sense really.

One of my dads friends attended a meet and greet at Lincoln City recently and got speaking to Skubala, who apparently still lives in Lutterworth.

My dads mate is a Leicester fan and so is Skubala. According to him, Skubala - without saying he wants to leave Lincoln for obvious reasons - said that Leicester would be his dream job at some point in his career.

Wonder if we could tempt Pablo Hernandez from Castellon if they don’t get promoted?

Cant imagine Rudkins ever heard of Pablo Hernandez. Or Castellon

Challinor is a good shout. He did a great job under very difficult circumstances at Hartlepool and may have taken Stockport as far as he can. He wins games. We definitely shouldn't go the ex player route.

If it's not Lee Johnson and Robbie Neilson i'll be amazed.

Only thing stopping that is Lommel getting promoted this season

*Neilson on his own is also a distinct possibility.

It will be Andy King until the transfer window closes at the start of the season, then we will offer it to Rowett after being turned down by the 50 options ahead of him on Rudkin list.

It'll be Lee Johnson, a man who isn't tall enough to ride Stormforce 10 at Drayton Manor, Tamworth, just off Junction 9 of the M42

It isn't this point though.

Russell Martin, the new sporting Director and Glover have all worked with each other previously.

Think that will be our first port of call.

Whether he takes it is another story, but my gut feel is that he would.

Does give youth a chance but i for one wont have his style of play.
