Does anyone care about shots when they don’t score? Tom Watson having 8/10 shots a game that you could throw your hat on, De-Cordova Reid with his constant display of woeful finishing. 
 

The football doesn’t work, anywhere he goes it doesn’t work, the teams build up too slow, teams sit back and know someone is going to mess up and they pounce. 
 

The defense isn’t sound, and it hasn’t been for a long time and he hasn’t sorted that it’s just as bad as the Danny Wardian Era. 
 

We need someone in that can bring the vibe back with the fans, get us on his side, experience in a dressing room that had good energy and success. 
 

Our fan base will never except Russell Martin, doesn’t matter what he goes and does.

Meaningful shots, goals, wins, not to pass to the opposition in our own box, not to have defenders that have brainfarts every 2 minutes, to watch an exciting football match, to be able to hold onto a lead, our Leicester back.

Firstly, I don't think anyone is complaining about youth being played.  It is the tactics hindering the team that concerns people.

 

Secondly, this is not a rebuild.  Circumstances have forced us to get rid of as many high earners as possible, the wages being unsustainable in this division.  This was not a choice.  Recruitment has been poor yet again.  Filling in gaps with journeymen his mates.  That is not my idea of a rebuild because there is no forward planning.

nah come on, some people are moaning just for the hell of it, like the stockport game having a go at martin even when we are winning, 

i get moaning but some of it is moaning for moanings sake

 

on your other points, sure i suppose, i dont think its just on him imo its the players at times too....a 2 way street so to speak

but as i've said previous no matter who we get theyd moan, could be pep and some fans would still moan.

 

i guess some people just like being completely negative no matter what(in general i mean)

yeah dont ask for a miracle, be lucky to find a manager all our fans can get behind and even then some will give them 3 games and call for them to go

That fan didn’t speak for me. I liked Enzo, enjoyed his football and understood that achieving promotion irrespective of the squad was not a foregone conclusion. His career trajectory since he left us would suggest the good proportion of LCFC fans that did like Enzo, that didn’t boo him, and that appreciated his work here were spot on. Now Martin isn’t Enzo but he does try and have a similar approach. He’s also right that Leicester have been shit since Enzo. Unfortunately we still are.
 

The only way Martin will reduce the amount of haters at games and on here is to win games. He will still have haters though like Pearson did, for a confidence, or a perceived arrogance. I personally don’t care about any arrogance or confidence or hair or clothes or whatever. If he starts winning games then that is ultimately all we should want as supporters considering the club’s position.

every other arguement about moaning in regards LCFC/RM seems to be clear cut tho.........

also what happens when you get a couple of bozos in the team who have brain farts(ala McCarthy and Souttar)

 

im pretty sure some would have moaned about the Plymouth game too if they had the chance

One is an unrealistic expectation. Another is a very reasonable thought that a club with the biggest budget in the division should win some football games at the lowest level they’ve played

We lost at home to Burton Albion and got ****ing humiliated by Oxford.

 

He is a dog shit manager. He’s been a dog shit manager everywhere he’s been. 
 

Why is it because he’s now our dog shit manager there’s STILL Leicester fans that think he’ll suddenly be anything other than a dog shit manager? 
 

I don’t want to give him time. I don’t want to have any sympathy for him. I want this incredibly well paid man to be sacked.

Yep, it’s ok to not be the best team in a league. It’s sport, there are winners and losers, it’s the basis of the game.

 

But everything we have and are suffering is entirely self inflicted by the board. Everybody knew exactly how appointing Brussel Martin would turn out, and yet here we are, wondering if he can beat (checks notes) f**king Bromley in October to keep his job.

 

Ive said it before, but it takes something truly special to be as comprehensively inept as we have been over the last 3 years

I like the engagement, I thought what he said was true. We have been sh*t for a long time. We’ve had “fans” moaning and booing at every opportunity. 
 

The sooner fans realise that we are where we are and accept that we are “sh*t” maybe we can start pulling in the same direction and giving encouragement to the team the sooner we can get out.
