Other clubs sacking their managers when they can see it’s going rapidly down hill. King Power will wait until it’s too late and then some how manage to find some one even worse.

Yeah Liz Trussell isn't a hipster manager at all, he's the empitome of the unaware incompetent English lower league gaffer who talks meaningless drivel after yet another embarrassing loss and believes in a football 'philosophy' over actual tactics. There are loads of them about but he is the funniest of them all, a real caricature.

The "give him 10 games" brigade will soon turn into the "only x points off the play-offs" brigade now I'd imagine

Hard to trot this line out at the moment as the gap to playoffs is the same as the gap to relagtion.

Russell Martin is definitely the most likely manager we’ve had to sit around a camp fire singing Kim Ba Yah.

He would certainly declare that he was going to with a smug grin on his face, and wait for hushed reverential silence from his fellow campers sitting around the crackling flames dancing in the atmospheric moonlight, before picking up the guitar and staring at it, wondering what the strings do.

We get to play the worst team in the league on Tuesday and we’ve….. conceded the same amount of goals as them.

Absolutely zero point in changing manager until we get Rudkin and his Siamese Twin out.

I know that was your implication but Russell Martin is categorically not a "hipster manager"

I can't let this go lol

To me he is a hipster manager because of the way he talks, even the look he cultivates but especially because of his over -tactical, over- complicating style over results tactics.

Perhaps you and I gave different definitions of what a hipster manager is.

He could get us to the play offs performing only marginally better than we have for the sum total of games this season, it would still mean jack all, as the talk from him and the club is about the future beyond this season. Robbie f’kn Savage found a way to beat this system, if we stay on this course then we would struggle in the championship IF we manage to get promoted. We’ve supposedly assembled a team of players with premier league quality or aspirations, if that’s correct then the manager is dog sh¡t if you go by the results and league position.

I can’t see us getting past motivated opposition in the play offs and I can’t see us putting together regular 3 or more wins in a row that would be needed to get automatic promotion. I can see us being within “striking distance” of the play offs, but if that’s good enough for RM to keep his job, then that really f’kn depressing

Some of these players will play in the premier league but not under Russell Martin.

With three quarters of our first choice defence being signed or making their debut in the Premier League.

Yeah we definitely have different opinions on what constitutes a hipster manager.

EDIT: But we can come together and all admit he's shite lol

This is a bit of a c unty thing to say so but I’m so bored of being right. I can’t remember the last time I was pleasantly surprised about anything to do with this club. I don’t know the last signing I called wrongly, the last signing I thought might be decent but was shit and so on.

I knew the last two games were a false dawn and anybody taken it by it was a cheap date. In a nutshell however pessimistic you might be - Top’s Leicester, Russel Martin’s Leicester, will find a way to be worse.

I fail to see him improving.
He will end up with a similar ratio of wins, draws and defeats purely because we’ll continue to concede goals.
Really can’t understand this acceptance of being mid table in this shit league.
The sooner he goes the better.
The longer he stays the less likely promotion becomes.

We look a team who can bully a vastly inferior one but any sort of resistance and adversity and we buckle and break.

An average manager would have this team up near the play offs - Martin is no average manager he is atrocious
