This could be huge for us. We may have lawsuits aimed at us from championship clubs but….. we have one of the biggest claims of missed champions league football for 2 seasons. This is going to be incredibly messy and I’m shocked this door has been opened.

I don’t think a single club should be sued…. I think the league should be for allowing it but seeing as the league get their money from every club that would be a little unfair

Totally agree, it should be the PL that should be sued. It’s their rules, which aren’t fit for purpose, which has cause the PSR mess. Whats going to happen with the Man City case, because we missed out on CL and £100m!

Not sure anyone can sue us. Burnley’s case against Everton was that if their six-point deduction had been applied in-season, Everton would have gone down and Burnley would have stayed up. If our six-point deduction had been applied in 23/24, we’d still have been promoted in second place.

I think there is a time limit on claims which means we wouldn’t be able to bring any claim against Man City or Chelsea

burnley brought their claim against Everton promptly

Largely would come down to what they get charged with. But any points penalty and we can go back and say they should have had it in the seasons that impacted us.  But we all know they will get cash and a slap on the wrist…… butt theoretically if they do get hit with something mega… you’d imagine we’d have grounds

Man City’s charges are not across the seasons where we finished in 5th anyway.

I guess that would also rule us out taking action against Chelsea as their breaches were between 2011 and 2018.

Fed up with Football being played out in the courtroom, too many charges, lawsuits etc. Bored of it all.

It's genuinely amazed me how since PSR started with points deductions just how happy they are to decide so much off the field.

Anything that takes the outcome away from what happens on the pitch should be the absolute last resort. You are talking about people's lives, all that travelling and expense we all sacrifice and they are happily pitching for -20 deductions as punishments.

It just shows how far gone it all is.

I just figured with 115 it was pretty much every year 😂
