Yeah. But that brings in national  teams who are basically crap and really shouldn't be competing to be the best in the world because they never will be. It's FIFA generating money. (potentially corruption).

just for the record, im  watching the match live  on Canadian Tv and not a single complaint or replay of the scene saying it should have been a penalty… you’d think they would have played it to death if they thought it would have been..

I have a mate from Leicester who moved to Canada in the late 90s, became a citizen, then moved to LA and was at the game, well chuffed for them & him.
