I'd rather he got us a fee that shows a realistic value of the player rather than giving them away though. Going bankrupt because we sold our assets on the cheap and can't get promotion nor financial respite is the worst of both worlds.

I know we’re skint too but this looks like shopping for a car with a Hyundai budget and looking at high end Mercs hoping the salesman will fold 1

Transfer requests may lose a player his bonus, but they don't force a club to do anything.

I can't see Sheff Utd going to £10m, and probably not West Ham either. It's a lot to risk on a player who has had two very lengthy lay-offs in his career due to serious injury. At the same time, it doesn't look like we're in the mood to drop the price much either. I don't think it's beyond the realm of possibility that he'll stay... Edited 6 August by ClaphamFox
