Hourihane will be our manager by the end of the season, mark my words. Cheap option after another manager payout.

Strong possibility, yes.

Works for Leicester, money wise. Temporarily.

Works for him after not doing so well in his debut job. Works well for him if / when he gets the boot if he's done enough for a contract upgrade in the middle bit in the big seat.

Former Leicester City set-piece coach Andrew Hughes has landed a new job in football after joining La Liga giants Athletic Bilbao.

Hughes left City last week following the appointment of Russell Martin. The 48-year-old spent two seasons at the King Power Stadium after joining in 2024 from Norwich City to become part of Steve Cooper's backroom team.

The former midfielder was also part of Scotland's coaching team under Steve Clarke, replacing Austin MacPhee, who joined the Portuguese national team staff. Hughes was at the World Cup with the national team as they crashed out in the group stage.

IF, if they had any sense, Kaspar would be back as gk coach.

As predicted he’s going to go and make a fortune out of punditry. Done well in America during the World Cup.

Thank God we won’t see the Manager sitting down and pointless set piece coach then coming out, standing up, whilst everyone on the pitch is  piling back to mark nobody, anymore!

Competition for Jakub the way this summer is gonna go

Got to respect a coach who dons the specialist gear. Barking orders don't land as well if you haven't got your Sondicos on.

Martin doesn't believe in set pieces. He believes the player taking the free kick or corner should play a sideways or backwards pass to their nearest teammate.

Doesn’t say what job he has ‘landed’ though.
