Sorry but gotta disagree. A clear cut chance from about 3 yards out, with the goal gaping, is not a half chance. Even a player low on confidence tucks that away to get the confidence.

TBF, I have just had the delight of watching it back.

 

It did take an awkward bounce into his path but you’re actually spot on.

 

I was too kind to Cullen and everything that he does in that moment was poor.

 

He was on his heels and that led to him not having the common sense/ability to hit it first time.

 

From a professional footballer, he has to do better.

I can only believe that Cullen's role is to be a model pro and play a part in raising the standards. Very little contribution during matches but perhaps his value is elsewhere and we'll be seeing less of him as the season progresses.
