Thought he looked promising at Ipswich, but faded badly in the second half. Not at the races today really and stayed on for 30 minutes too long, perhaps he is trying to hard. There is a player there but he is backup to Alves for me at the moment.

Alves is miles ahead of him at the moment. So much more complete and assured. Watson looked a bit Mavididi-esque today where he didn't know what he wanted to do when he got the ball. Still think he'll be a good signing but impact sub for now

I thought he was a bit shit Tuesday night as well, very much like today but with fewer crap touches against Ipswich. Trying too much and being greedy

He had a poor game on the looks of it, he also had the most shots, had the most touches in the opposition box, jointly created the most chances with Braybrooke. Having a poor game and doing more than Mavididi does is probably a glimmer of hope, it’s other positions we need to improvement on. 
 

Alves probably does start ahead of him he is providing the end product. 
 

What I can’t stand is the likes of BDR and Cullen doing absolutely fck all. They’re our biggest issues and this is where my support for RM will ebb away, don’t start them at least.

A young lad who is brilliant at creating half a yard for himself but then more often than not chooses either the wrong option or lacks quality in his end product. 

 

Alves and Howell should be starting based on what I have seen so far.

Seemed to always avoid going outside to try and get to the line to cut a cross back.  Always headed into a crowded area where Sammy already was, looking for the short return pass so he can try and walk it into the net.

 

Not a team player and we can’t waste many more games trying to train other teams players.  Alves bright more energy and the attacks quicken.

Yeah I don't like how predictable he is, he always went to cut inside and doesn't seem to fancy his left foot.

You can see why he's been sent out on loan. He does some good things but seems to lack awareness of the overall situation. I don't recall him once going outside to get to the byline to pull back a cross. Maybe I missed it?
